  1. In communist Russia, you have it our way.
  2. Bryce Foster was at our game and his tweets are all LSU tonight.... not surprising with their big win...
  3. It’s a tradition in the Stoops’ family.
  4. On D, we just need to get our guys 10 yards behind the LOS and blitz like crazy on crucial 3rd down plays. On offense, mix it up with conservative low-reward plays and deep routes that we successfully execute less than 10% of the time. On special teams, let's try to return kickoffs instead of taking the ball at the 25 and on punts we can "catch" it and go backward.

    Pouncey gone

I think he's referring to the pending graduation of Collin Johnson and Devin Duvernay... meaning that these kids should be patient and try to compete for those spots next year.
  6. I’m so sick of coaches/managers losing games for my teams
  7. I hope they don’t switch to Cole...

  9. Yeah, i like urquidy better as a matchup
  10. For Keto, you just go really low carb for extended periods of time. You can eat most meats, unless they're glazed with a sugary sauce or fried with a batter. Most veggies are fine, but nothing that grows below the ground (potatoes, carrots, etc) and most beans are out. Most fruits are out, except a reasonable portion of berries. Starches like bread, rice, and other grains are out. No sugar or alcohol. Read more: https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/ketogenic-diet-101#foods-to-avoid Keto isn't hard to do compared to other diets like Whole 30 and you can usually eat out at most places. The problem is that the philosophy is built around sticking to it for long periods of time so that your body goes into ketosis and burns fat quickly. It can take up to several days for you to get into ketosis, so if you have a cheat day, it sets you back. Also, some people get symptoms (keto flu) that take them a while to adjust to. I lost my first ten pounds in a month using Keto. I did it on a month that I was already planning on not drinking for. Keto will be more effective if you also don't go crazy with the "good" foods (consume ridiculous calories of meat for example). Also, if you intermittently fast, you will lose weight faster. I'd recommend it as a good diet to do for a month or two, but I don't think its a great long term answer. After one month of Keto, I switched to macro-counting which I find to be much easier to use consistently. I log all my calories and try to eat within a certain range of total calories and protein M-Th and a more relaxed range F-Su. I also lift heavy and run maybe once a week. There is really nothing I won't eat or drink, as long as I have the budget for it calorie-wise that day. If you are interested in that type of diet, start here: https://legionathletics.com/macronutrient-calculator/
  11. Herman said Eagles missed one practice for personal reasons but was in good standing with the team. Sounds like we got Anwar-ed again.
  12. I'd expect Texas to have a higher amount for a few reasons: 1. We had a head coaching change 3 years ago, causing changes to scheme, player evaluations, and player-coach relationships. We should be seeing the last of that now with Christmas-Giles and maybe a couple of others that I can't think of. If we change coordinators (especially on defense) or possibly some position coaches that may start up again. 2. Our 2-deep is finally starting to get more populated by upperclassmen (compared to a few years when we had barely any). If we recruit 20-25 guys each year, they're not all going to be able to crack the two-deep. 3. We're recruiting strongly. Some are studs and crack the two-deep quickly, others are more projects. Some, like Shepherd, think they're studs because they were told so by different schools in the recruiting process, but actually had to do some work before they're ready. Competition Some transfers are good for the program and some are not. If you are bringing in potential each year and those that can't or won't cut it leave, that's not necessarily a bad thing. I'm not losing sleep about Shepherd, Toneil, Caleb Johnson, the QB that went to Utah that I can't remember his name already, or even Shane (because Sam / system fit). I'm definitely ok with entitled people moving on.
  13. Checking back in.... I’ve been weighing in at 178.5-182 ish lately... 6’2”, 41 years old... 11.5% body fat lost ~30 lbs and like >10% body fat since May. I have abs for the first time in my life... Also, went up in all my major lifts (squats, deadlift, bench, military press, pull-ups, etc) and my lean body mass is up 6-7lbs. Almost done cutting and ready to bulk.
  14. With Eagles' drop rate, he can't afford to miss practice.
  15. He was my favorite defensive player last year, but against OU it was obvious he couldn’t raise one of his arms all the way and it looked like Ceedee Lamb would just run to that side of his body... I had terrible seats vs KU so I couldn’t see enough to comment.
  16. Alford has still been really pro-Texas on Twitter very recently, saying stuff like don't worry fans, I'm on my way. Eaton seems like a good guess, but I am not sure he'd be that big of a loss. Jordan Pouncey seems really integrated into a lot of the Texas school spirit stuff. I doubt he's negatively recruiting his brother on the culture or anything systemic. He might intend to transfer for playing time and they might want to play together.
