  1. I don’t think anyone would argue with you about this, but he currently is what he is and evidently that’s not good enough.
  2. Maybe he’s also coughing it up in practice? Or, he’s just a constant risk of getting the QB decapitated.
  3. He plans on catching his own batted balls, since they have no receivers. Then his true mobility will be revealed.
  4. Some men take rejection much harder than others. Poor choice of words, considering the state of the RB room. In all seriousness, the RB room has been the biggest twist of fate of the year. Between the losses due to injuries, Blue (who we thought would be a huge factor), going full Blue, Gibson hardly seeing the field because he shouldn’t, and Wisner carrying the load… Nobody would have written a script remotely close to this last spring, and it’s a big reason for many of the offensive struggles.
  5. This is exactly what I was pointing out. Thank you for your support.
  6. This coming from a poster who is a well below average person, it makes sense you’d be against mediocrity. After all, it’s unattainable for you. Quinn is who he is and can’t change that. If the team’s being “wasted” that’s on Sark, assuming the backup is indeed better. Sark sees far more of both QBs than we do, so it’s quite possible the Manning we’ve created in our heads, because of limited script, isn’t better than Quinn at this point. Oh, and the above comment applies to you, as well.
  7. Again, for the smooth brains, there are certain factors which cause fans to formulate these opinions. Those same factors could influence the players, none of which come from the fans. Two separate groups influenced by the same things, without any direct influence on one another’s thoughts. The fan is not saying, “I’m overconfident because the team is overconfident” and the team isn’t thinking they are overconfident because the fans are, but both could have the same mindset.
  8. It always cracks me up when simple minds infer too much into a statement. Nowhere did I imply fan stupidly had any correlation to player mindset.
  9. They could be a cakewalk, but to assume they will be is just dumb.
  10. Things I know: Our RBs could block much better. Nobody fears our RBs up the middle (well, maybe aggy). Receivers have dropped too many passes. Our fans have been quick to shit on Quinn, despite his overall personal success, being a huge part of getting Texas back to top of college football, and his physical limitations, which he has absolutely no control over. Things I don’t know: The number of missed passes that are a result of incorrect routes. The order of progression on any given play. What Quinn can see compared to our sky cam view. Whether Helobious is capable of giving the quality handjobs necessary to save our DL next season.
  11. For the love of Texas football, I hope the team isn’t looking as far past Clemson as many of our fans.
  12. If DTs have similar taste in approach, I like the girls with a little shyness to them, before they rip into your pants like it’s Christmas morning. You can be honest. You would have said, “Where do I sign?!?”
  13. Did we run the wrong route in this scenario, making him look worse than he really is?
  14. These two posts being back-to-back is out-fucking-standing.
  15. Crazy: adjective mentally deranged, especially as manifested in a wild or aggressive way. Nobody is implying they are going to clean up. I’m talking irrational payments to questionable players.
