  1. You’ve never been kicked in the nuts by a kicker. I bet that follow through is legit.
  2. I’ve been loading on UUUU, waiting for this headline: https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/us-based-energy-fuels-poised-to-produce-six-of-the-seven-rare-earth-oxides-now-subject-to-chinese-export-controls-at-scale-302431466.html
  3. You act like there’s no possibility this young man felt deep remorse for what he caused, regardless of the legal consequences. I haven’t followed the story and maybe he was a total narcissist, but everyone processes these situations differently and we can never know what our own reaction would be.
  4. Do we need to get the futureman-fister involved in this transfer portal window?
  5. I found this interesting: https://youtu.be/2wacXUrONUY?si=-8qlKzIirxGHrzWl Don’t know how to properly embed…
  6. While I get what you’re saying, the term insiders encompasses more than just officers and directors who receive stick benefits.
  7. I'm jumping in this "argument" but something I've been tracking for the past year. Multiple institutions were predicting bonds would outperform stocks over the next 10 years, Vanguard being one. I recently read there were zero inside buyers in the Mag 7 over the past year (not 100% certain on exact time-frame, actually). I did not verify this. These moves are volatile for obvious reasons, but I still believe we were going from point A (high) to point B (low) one way or another. The volatility in getting there is short-term trader fear, IMO. https://www.nasdaq.com/articles/goldman-sachs-surprising-investment-forecast A couple of funds I've dipped into that seem to be poised for success and have kept the momentum from this week's "rally", YNM and ARGT (Vietnam and Argentina ETFs).
  8. He’s a nationally accepted expert on the ability to quickly put on weight.
  9. Found Surly's hooker and blow connection.
  10. This is the game, always had been. Surly will tell anyone who thinks outside the message board vacuum they are an idiot. This game is always the same, but different. Love him or hate him, he warned everyone it was coming, told everyone to hold tight, and then quite literally told us when to buy. This pattern likely isn't over so I'd recommend against anyone getting aggressive either direction. Side note: Living overseas at the moment is interesting. For the first time, I feel a strong sense of shame to be an American.
  11. You don’t think that would impact how many cart pushers Walmart has? You better think about your own job security.
  12. Just be careful with your puts, Black Swan events can happen at the bottom, too. Sometimes the truly powerful people eliminate problems that go against them.
  13. On one hand, I agree. There will be a better place to invest at some point. The problem is, the fear following something catastrophic prevents a vast majority people from getting back in, until it’s too late and they’re buying the tops again. Those people are better off staying in and waiting for the recovery.
  14. I’ll definitely listen to this guy over some blowhard on a football board who can’t detach from his emotions long enough to potentially learn something. I can admit my areas of weakness, truly desire to keep learning, and listen to anyone, regardless of their political affiliation or lack of. I still will not put 100% faith in anything.
  15. Dude, I have absolutely no sound opinion on what the “plan” is and don’t trust everything I read, just sharing information so we get different viewpoints for market decisions, which is what the thread is for. I did my best to stay awake in economics class and don’t claim anything above that level of education in the matter.
