  1. Baw gawd that's Mo Bamba's music....
  2. That has always worried me as well. We have learned much more about being freakishly tall and the different things that cause and are caused by it. Marfan's, Giantism, Foot problems, etc. He didn't have the "look" of one of those George Muresan or Yao Ming types, but maybe I only made those assumptions because he likes to handle the ball and shoot 3s, and based on that assumption I figured if he had some potential health drawback the talent scouts and GMs already would've been wise to it.
  3. I'm asking if it was possible to detect how prone he would be to clotting, which is different from predicting a specific clot. Think of it as the difference between a tornado watch and a tornado warning. Clots and tornadoes don't just sporadically occur, but there are ways to forecast how probable their occurrence will be based on other measurable data.
  4. I know that. I'm asking something different. I'm asking if it was possible to know this before it was actually discovered. And if the answer is "yes it was possible" then I'm also asking "why did nobody bother to check before he possibly aggravated the DVT?"
  5. Was this detectable when he was drafted? Considering the enormous investment and business decisions that revolve around generational talents, I would expect nothing less than a full panel and the most comprehensive screening imaginable.
  6. This distrust of the free market is suspicious, comrade. To the re-education camps with you until you profess unflinching faith in free market capitalism.
  7. Also kind of looks like the light sabre kid
  8. Seeing him oppose fascism makes me feel the way I felt watching Zach Collins play for the Spurs. While we eventually got DeAaron Fox for Collins there is nothing of value that could be salvaged from Hakeem Jeffries, and the consequences of his staggering inadequacy are far more dire.
  9. Wheelhouse
  10. They're worse than useless.
  11. that sucks for him
  12. https://www.tmz.com/2025/02/19/blake-lively-files-amended-complaint-justin-baldoni/ Why are they being vague? I would probably also complain about Baldoni's overall demeanor and namaste vibe, but those "concerns" are not the same thing as a concern that he is responsible for sexual harassment. Also, Ryan Reynolds is apparently Hamas https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/movies/movie-news/blake-lively-justin-baldoni-feud-amended-lawsuit-actresses-testify-1236139676/ Okay here is the amended complaint https://d.newsweek.com/en/file/477141/blake-lively-amended-complaint.pdf
  13. "continued use" of something I've never heard him say?
  14. IDGAF about the average fan though
  15. She's his sister and his daughter
  16. I'd still watch.
  17. Also read somewhere that Chevy Chase is quickly losing mental acuity.
  18. I'm would love more games, but there comes a point where we have to be considerate to the 90% of student athletes who did in fact come to play school and don't get any NIL money. If there are no more CCGs, and all of the teams that qualify for the playoffs are equally depleted, then that resolves one of the complaints I have. I still think automatic berths are arbitrary as hell and will invite intra-conference controversy about who would get in and who would be left out. This season it would have been Bama vs SCe vs Ole Miss. The two who get left out would then feel a perhaps unwarranted sense of entitlement to one of the at-large berths, and it would fuck up the chances of a possibly more interesting team like UNLV or a 1-loss MAC or Sun Belt team. Teams like Wichita State, St Louis, and Northern Iowa are what make March Madness so fun and we should be trying to replicate that with CFP.
