  1. I did feel kind of upset that an undefeated G5 (Liberty) could be excluded, although in that case I didn't actually think they were capable of hanging with the four selected teams and (like FSU) they got exposed in bowl season.
  2. I think committees do a decent job, when it's the march madness bracket. I'm only upset if a team that clearly belongs in the conversation for #1 gets left out. I don't feel so bad about BYU, Boise, or any two-loss P4 being left out of the playoffs because they never would have had a chance in the BCS or 4-team CFP days.
  3. that would destroy the only justification provided for covering up the report
  4. Thread rename when?
  5. just suspend some disbelief. Anyway, To your point about stakes
  6. These seem suspiciously broad. I'm not saying they're good guys (they're not) but I have a hard time believing the ICC is just playing favorites here.
  7. Just out of curiosity, what crimes would you charge them with?
  8. I'll be honest, I am finding the post-apocalypse Big XII highly entertaining. They combined the lower-brow Pac teams (but not, like, Wazzu low) with the Hateful Eight with some G5 occasional overachievers (BYU, Cincy, UCF, Houston) and the result has been absolute madness.
  9. The Rome Statute, although slow and dangerous behind the wheel, can still serve a purpose

  11. They'd have two losses if Manny Diaz hadn't tried to be a galaxy brain
  12. it's so fucking long though I can't see myself blocking out that much time on a football weekend

  15. Next year UTEP could theoretically make the playoff and win a natty. That wouldn't have been possible last year or any other prior year. Could they be fucked on seeding and ranking? Yes, but there's no way an undefeated team isn't going to make the playoff.
  16. We bribed Saban into retiring and bribed DeBoer to replace him, and we also bribed Connor Stallions and Jim Harbaugh so that our inaugural SEC season would be perfect, then the big cigars bribed Quinn Ewers and Sark to throw the Georgia game so that there would be plausible deniability. The phantom DPI call was choreographed and staged, Jahdae Barron and Arian Smith were in league, as was the first beer thrower, and the referees who we paid reversed the call just so that everyone else knows who's boss and who really runs things. They're not even trying to hide it.
  17. DNC is perpetually stuck in 2004 thinking. They even have their "young" staffers thinking this way. It's MackBrownTexasFootball all the way down.
  18. Exactly. I won't look a gift horse in the mouth, but they usually lose games like this. No lead is safe until the young players play smarter
  19. Kamala Harris Destination Thread
  20. I went into the fourth quarter fully expecting the team to collapse and the lead to evaporate. I know it's a cliche, but OKC didn't lose they just ran out of time. This is on coach more than Castle, but I really wish he hadn't pushed the action so much when the lead had grown to like 21. Run out the clock, slow the pace of the game. Crisp passes, draw fouls, take only high percentage open looks. We're very lucky OKC missed so many layups and wide open shots down the stretch. I really love Castle.
  21. OU is similar to Texas in that they're at the mercy of which version of their QB shows up. Our QB is much, much better so that masks much of the comparison, but Arnold has shown brief flashes of competency.
  22. Did his accomplice make bail
