  1. One side meticulously studied Gamergate and cynically applied it in a wildly unethical social experiment that altered the brain chemistry and empathy of millions of Americans. The other side took everyone under retirement age for granted and asked celebrities to sing Pink on a zoom call.
  2. You can't ascribe the annoying behaviors of terminally online SJWs to the party. Number one, the top down power structure of the democratic party very clearly did not endorse or participate in any "latinx" or "they/them" tone policing. Number two, not only that, the party even went so far as to promote Liz Cheney and other Lincoln Project conservatives at the expense of alienating the voters who liked what Governor Walz was bringing to the table. There's just no serious argument to be made that (1) the DNC ever embraced SJWs or (2) this non-existent embrace of SJWs is responsible for Gen Z men moving toward Trump. The scholars who actually monitor and research modern media have made a variety of observations and hypotheses, but one common theme is that the Dems basically ceded the online spaces for years, allowing a "Manosphere" to grow and take hold with that demographic, instilling toxic beliefs and misogynist, xenophobic values in them while they're in a vulnerable age. Dems arrogantly believed that they didn't need to put in any work, just like what happened with Latinos.
  3. Treating trans people (or any other part of the coalition) as expendable is a sign of weakness, to say nothing of the morality of such a cowardly stance. At that point, and with that track record, why should any other constituency trust the party to protect its interests?
  4. By Wednesday it's gonna be 2 billion
  5. JK Rowling was always a bigot. She couldn't handle the criticism so she doubled and tripled down until it made her miserable. Much like Elon, except for the part where she isn't a blood mineral heir and didn't get rich because of someone else's ideas.
  6. Whoa! Perhaps they should be kept under some kind of surveillance.
  7. They had ten people in that cell?
  8. Fell to the 7th round
  9. wait imma unblocked twitter?
  10. Can someone clip the part of Kamala's DNC speech where she said Latinx? I'm too lazy to find it on my own.
  11. step in the right direction, but not strong enough medicine for what ails them not many of those in the party
  12. That's definitely more effective and humane than trying them as adults. At a minimum their guardians should no longer be trusted with the care of any other person, and they should be placed in the custody of someone who actually knows how to raise children. Mandatory therapy and medication for the stuff that can't be controlled.
  13. They will be disciplined, but they aren't fully grown adults yet. Why are we punishing them as if they were? Just because they are old enough to superficially understand some things doesn't mean they are old enough to truly understand things. Although they may know the difference between right and wrong, I don't believe that knowledge by itself is enough to justify a disproportionate exercise of government power against them. Knowledge without maturity is like cookie dough without an oven. We can't really hold them to the same standards as a mature adult.
  14. I'm against the death penalty, and I'm against long sentences for crimes committed by minors.
  15. Miss me yet? https://www.the-independent.com/news/world/americas/crime/diddy-civil-suit-rape-assault-tootsie-b2751269.html
  16. I don't care what they did, I don't trust any government that thinks it has this power
  17. I never met a Tulsi fan who wasn't a weird, contrarian, closeted libertarian. I don't know how anyone back in the 2020 primary could've listened to her speak for more than three minutes and think to themselves "wow, she's presidential." The least surprising thing was her leaving the party. I say this as someone who hates the Democratic party. She's one of the few people for whom the party, which is good for nothing, is too good for.
  18. as there's a drive into deep left field by Castellanos, it will be a home run, and so that'll make it a 4–0 ballgame
  19. This. 99% of the time, just take the most talented player available. If it's not a roster fit you can always trade it away, so get the most leverage you can get.
  20. Unions are like seatbelts. Better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it. Without the power to collectively bargain, workers get exploited which means people get sick, maimed, and killed.
