  1. Ewers gonna beat Marino's Wonderlic record
  2. Well my feed could be a bit behind the game thread so I'll hang out in CR
  3. Has there been any new information on the "kidnapping" story?
  4. No because when they're white hetero cis males, they earned it.
  5. If he's a cis white heterosexual male maybe he can apply as reverse DEI.
  6. That's exactly what he did. And he bagged the lumber for some reason.
  7. They're very evenly matched but this could be a deciding factor
  8. For me, the elite college sports would pull me toward UT vs UCSB, but maybe not in the age of Abbott and Hartzell. Also, no beach.
  9. UCSB is just about UT in terms of academic eliteness with UT being slightly better in some fields and UCSB being slightly better in others
  10. Machine Gun Kelly is the perfect guy for West Virginians

  12. This is legendary. Somewhat related, only in College Station do we see these stupid fucking religious signs fucking up the Gameday tradition. Aggy will always be aggy
  13. Pre-covid I felt like Beto represented the Dem's ceiling for statewide races and Cruz represented the GOP's statewide floor for statewide races. Now that a bunch of boomers have died and youths have reached voting age, I think the Dems' ceiling is higher and the GOP floor is lower. The race is winnable. Not sure Allred is the guy who can come close to the ceiling (MJ Hegar sure as hell was not, and by 2022 Beto lost his shine after betting big and losing on making gun control his pet issue). I still think Cruz represents the floor.
  14. Most good pollsters are already accounting for this. There's still enough data to know within the MOE what the electorate thinks
  15. If Texas somehow flips it's gonna be one of these situations
  16. If the pollster overcorrects on some aspect of massaging the raw data, like when they attempt to project turnout for SEPA or for a particular demographic (Black women or White men), and when they overcorrect based on assumptions beneficial to the right wing, I'm guessing that's how you end up with these tossup or "Trump +1" outcomes. There's a lot of new registered voters and it's hard to know which of these pollsters have accounted for them.

  18. Someone please report back on the quality of cell and 5G service on the various networks at the stadium on gameday.
