  1. Yeah the couple was you and your wife!
  2. Yep, Adam Scott was using one for a while, it’s no ladies flex…
  3. I think you have two options. You might try a 58 degree, I went to a 58 after doing a degree check of all my irons. I formerly played Callaway Apex irons. They are 2-3 stronger loft than say a pro’s blades are. I found a large gap between my Apex gap wedge and my 56 degree sand wedge for that very reason. So I had my 56 bent to 54 and changed my 60 to a 58 and it closed that gap. Imo, unless you’re around a single digit handicapper, I’m not convinced anyone needs a lob wedge. From what I’ve seen, there are more mistakes made with them than good shots pulled off with one. A sand wedge will do nicely for most people. Secondly when I see that happening to people, I changed my philosophy to taking a longer club and shorten your swing. Swinging easier with more club is usually more accurate than pulling a hamstring trying to muscle F a lob wedge.
  4. These toothless bastards remind me of aggy, fans, players, coaches and unis…
  5. I stopped reading after seeing them put Flight of the Conchords at 69, Jesus h.
  6. Well the my wouldn’t give us Brooks and Bryson in a pairing but they do have their fair share of bits going on with the pairings. They have Speith, Scheffler and Zalatoris, three dallas guys playing together. They have three South Africans grouped, several English pairings, three PGA champs together with Brooks, Morikawa and JT. And of course the famous pairing of Bo Hoag and Tom Hoge, I mean come on…
  7. His number was up…
  8. That’s what’s so amazing about him to me. They’re like “ we have a comedy show about metal detectorists, now write a them song for the show. And he comes up with this jewel that is beautiful and moving. True genius
  9. To finish up on the tourney. Got a lodged kidney stone Saturday night and spent the night in ER. got drugged up and went out and played anyway on Sunday since we were in second place in our flight. I bumbled my way to an 81 and g/f totally collapsed under the pressure with a cool 117. We ended up in 4th and 6th net and gross. embarrassing. I couldn't even keep my posture when driving due to the pain, was spraying it everywhere and topping 1/3 of my shots. Short game is the only reason i didn't shoot 90.
  10. I last played there, (South Course) in 2005. I'm currently a 6.8 handicap, was a 5 when i played there and shot a 97. It was super windy and raining which is very rare there but with that combination it destroyed me. I buckled down and played as hard as i could not to shoot 100 which i said i would never regardless of the course. CSB
  11. You can set aside all politics, all science rumors, even your own fucking health etc. The fact that you have a newborn baby, you have millions on the line and you could have gotten vaccinated anywhere you want including the front gate. It's beyond irresponsible, it's just plain stupid for him not to be vaccinated. It's stupid not to have 100% vaccination ratio on the PGA Tour. I don't feel sorry for him in the least. You want your wife and baby on a god damn ventilator you oaf?
  12. I had a major jazz phase in the 80's so most of my favorite stuff was from that era. Here were some of my favorites. This will melt the panties off any woman, i recommend John Klemmer Mosaic Album (greatest hits) Just put in on and lay back and let your woman, or in Chads case, your man take care of you John Klemmer - Touch One of all time favs - Lee Ritenour "Is It You?" Grover Washington Jr. - Mister Magic Live Ronnie Laws - Couldn't find a live version of his biggest hit "Awake" but on the second song "People Make the World Go Round" you can see him live playing his famous tenor sax at a cool lakeside venue. I would highly recommend his album "Solid Ground" Solid Ground One of all time favs - Lee Ritenour "Is It You?"
  13. I have turned so many people on to this guy and no one has ever heard of him before. they may have seen him in some movies or TV series like Genius where he played young Einstein. Born in south Africa and lives in England. First heard him when watching the TV show Detectorists. He wrote and performed the theme song. He is just a musical genius, writes all his own music, mainly folk and is a talented actor as well. Usually writes music for all the movies he is in. Here are a couple of clips of some tunes, such a great voice and deep lyrics. He is so humble and unassuming, just he and his resonating guitar tied to his shoulder strap with a string. Performs with a number of other artists like Mumford and Sons. Hope you enjoy his music as much as i do. Theme song for Detectorists With recording artist Laura Marling With his sister who is also a recording artist
  14. Mind blown
  15. Just finished first round of couples best ball at my club. I shot a 77 and g/f shot a 97. She’s a 24 and I’m a 6.8. 8 pars in a row to start then missed. 2 foot par putt for 1 over on front. Three inches away from three birdies ugh. Had a double on the back when I pushed a 3 wood into the lake, had to redrop on tee box, ended up with double. Only had one birdie, couldn’t buy a putt. Only missed two fairways and hit 14 greens. Pretty solid. Girlfriend made a birdie on a par five and got two strokes as well for three strokes on one hole!
  16. So many memories, parking on some streets out in the boonies which would later be warehouses. We called them backstreets, get some beer from a beer store across the tracks where they didn’t check ID’s. Open the trunk and blast this album singing every word
