  1. And everyone is just laughing and laughing. So fucking pathetic.
  2. We like it more because it's our local spot. But food is very solid. And they could definitely use the business.
  3. Dodgers go up 4-0 in the top of 1. Promptly give up 3 in the bottom of 1.
  4. From Yelp. I've had them and they are good. I typically get the burrito, but had the camerones a la Mexican, and it was fantastic.
  5. Injuries. Snell on the DL, along with Gonsolin.
  6. Wow, we fly this airline all the time. My daughter who is at Sonoma St, is flying it next week to come home for Easter. This seems like business suicide for Avelo. Fuck them. https://www.sfchronicle.com/bayarea/article/avelo-airlines-santa-rosa-deportation-flights-20265852.php
  7. Dodgers in a tailspin
  8. Watching that final play, it looked like if he immediately started dribbling, not secure it and then start dribbling, but just get your hand on top of the ball and dribble, it would’ve have been clean.
  9. Cecil Fielder basically ate his way out of the league at 33.
  10. Fuck, I totally forgot that CA now requires a Boater Card for any operator of a boat with a motor greater than 15 hp, or a sailboat greater than 30 ft with a motor. It's been a requirement since 2018, but they phased it in by age. As on 1/1/25, everybody has to have one. $100 fine for the first offense, $250 for the second, and $500 for the 3rd. My guess is they may be lax this first year. But it's CA, so maybe not. Doing an online course, and have it running in the background as you need to spend a certain amount of time on each section. Fucking California.

  12. gator's right. @MissingInAction if god forbid the safest course of action is to remove the arm, fuck it, take it off. Absolutely get a second, and third, opinion. But if that's what they say gives you the best chance of long term survival, so be it. I can't tell you how many stories I've read of people with esophageal cancer who opt against Ivor Lewis surgery (where they remove much of the esophagus and in my case half my stomach too) where long term the outcome was bad. The odds for long term survival are exponentially higher with surgery. So I didn't hesitate. I lost almost 60 pounds, throw up 4-5 times per week, can eat much in the way of fried foods or high sugar content foods, and eating in general just isn't that enjoyable anymore. And I was a HUGE foodie. But 4 post op scans later, I'm NED. And my kids get to have their dad around a little longer. I know cutting out your guts does not compare to losing an arm, but just for perspective. My life has changed in a lot of ways, but the surgery gave me a shot at having a life. Without it, well, I may not be typing this.
  13. So we do a pool for every major. Pick 2 players from the OGR top 10, 2 from 11-20, and 3 from 21+. Total prize money wins. Give me your thoughts. https://www.owgr.com/current-world-ranking
  14. Went to our favorite Mexican restaurant tonight. The only establishment open north of Medecino on Lake. Have to support them. The population of Altadena is probably 20% of pre fire.
  15. A little spooky. Went to move this Yeti which had been sitting in the backyard since the fires. An ember apparently landed on it and burned through the lid. Thank god it was the Yeti and not the roof.
  16. Lakers throttling OKC on the road rn.
  17. Fucking Dodgers. They suck. Season's over.
