  1. Wow, what a journey @hornbri. Your wife seems like a tough son of a gun. Praying for continued recovery.
  2. I think most offenses with Sam Howell at QB would look pretty shitty.
  3. Yep,that went up on the beach a few days ago. Surprised it hasn’t been pulled off. Glad you picked Hamilton. Great spot and you get the golf cart. Where have you eaten?
  4. Word is Eric Bienemy is about to be hired as our OC. I know he has a bit of a rap sheet and a rough personality, but he's OC'd for Reid and is respected as an offensive mind. I think he's what we need for our inexperienced head coach.
  5. That's fucking remarkable.
  6. No treading the thread, but just watched the first episode last night. A little whacky, but we'll see where it goes.
  7. I think you're on to something. Keep fighting the good fight.
  8. I am watching “John Adams” today. Watching the swearing in of Washington, and am struck by the humble servitude with which they embrace the duty to this country. And in Trump we have a man whose only service is to himself. And it is shameful that so many fail to see that.
  9. It’s not too bad. Just going to be steady for several days
  10. Yeah, if it's an immunotherapy drug, it is crazy expensive. I was on Opdivo and it was $25K per pop, and I was doing it 2x's/month. Insurance covered it all thankfully. Had to get off it. Now on a different drug, Rinvoq, for ulcerative colitis that was triggered by the Opdivo. That runs $15k per month for just pills. Shit's crazy yo. Just got my 6 month scans, and the doc yesterday called to results "ambiguous." Couple of enlarged lymph nodes and the spot on my liver from before is larger. But he doesn't seem overly concerned, although he wants to order me a PET scan to be certain. So we'll see. Can't let myself worry about it. One of my oldest friends (first grade) just told me he has a brain tumor. UCLA thinks it's operable and has a decent outlook, but fuck cancer. Motherfucker.
  11. So sorry @Reynolds Woodcock. Losing my lab Crosby was one of my life's more painful experiences. It's been 3 years and he's still the desktop pic on my computer and phone. They bury themselves so deep in your heart.
  12. No. Quite the opposite. I would get that doing a medium rare steak the traditional way (grill or cast iron), but sous vide gets that interior temp up to what I want.
  13. No thanks. I think Prime is a charlatan.
  14. Just watched and thought he was fantastic.
  15. Especially if all your kids are in college or older. No need to be sitting around eating bon bons.
  16. This is the question. And I don't think the answer is yet. It's a photo finish for sure. But a shart includes accidental deposits.
  17. This is our concern Dude.
  18. If that's at real speed, holy shit is right. And couldn't we build something like that to generate electricity?
