  1. I found TrueCar to be pretty useful.  Knowing what other people paid for the same car, and making sure I got mine for the very low end of that spectrum, gave me peace of mind.  We also used Costco's buying service to get a good deal on my wife's car.

On a separate note, I am going to be in the market for a cheap, basic, dependable ride for my soon to be 16 year old son.  Looking for somethign in the $5,000 range under 80K miles if possible.

Yeah, $350k plus $200k in legal fees. Basically 10 years of income from shaggy, land thieves, and a dozen or so other sites I built over the years. Plus they counted money I brought in for march madness and football pools, even though that money went strait back out. (often at a loss as I ate the fees) They also counted all the money that came into my paypal or bank account, even though thousands of that was from poker, sports betting and programming projects.

We need to exact blood money then.

So this acquisition makes the Cubbies the 3rd worst team in the NL after the Marlins and Giants?

IN the LA Times today, there was an article on how the Cubs looked to be poised to have a dynasty going, but it got derailed and may not get back on track for years.

A few years ago, we had an Indian kid for an intern.  That little fucker would completely disrobe from the waist down, climb up on the toilet seat, and squat to shit.  And, leave the fucking stall door open.  A little disconcerting to walk by what you think is an open stall and see this, to say the least.

We have a Capgemini consulting office in our building and they have a bunch of Indian (dot) dudes.  The toilet seats on that floor always have shoe marks on them from them standing on the toilet seat and squatting.  WTF, man.

We may do the Canyons during our SB trip in March.  Been forever since I rode there.

What lifts, trails do you recommend for riding?  Tips?  Advice?

It’s all good.  If you work the far left side as you face the mountain you can cut over to Park City on the gondola.

  6. So i took the fam to the desert last night and it rained heavily on our return. I felt the only prudent move was to head to the boat to make sure all the rain we've been having wasn't going to sink her. All is well. So I think I will make me a filet mignon, Caesar, and some mash for dinner. I love being here by myself. 6bb50d4e06475d78479df7db88627b33.jpg
