So this acquisition makes the Cubbies the 3rd worst team in the NL after the Marlins and Giants?

IN the LA Times today, there was an article on how the Cubs looked to be poised to have a dynasty going, but it got derailed and may not get back on track for years.

A few years ago, we had an Indian kid for an intern.  That little fucker would completely disrobe from the waist down, climb up on the toilet seat, and squat to shit.  And, leave the fucking stall door open.  A little disconcerting to walk by what you think is an open stall and see this, to say the least.

We have a Capgemini consulting office in our building and they have a bunch of Indian (dot) dudes.  The toilet seats on that floor always have shoe marks on them from them standing on the toilet seat and squatting.  WTF, man.

We may do the Canyons during our SB trip in March.  Been forever since I rode there.

What lifts, trails do you recommend for riding?  Tips?  Advice?

It’s all good.  If you work the far left side as you face the mountain you can cut over to Park City on the gondola.

  4. So i took the fam to the desert last night and it rained heavily on our return. I felt the only prudent move was to head to the boat to make sure all the rain we've been having wasn't going to sink her. All is well. So I think I will make me a filet mignon, Caesar, and some mash for dinner. I love being here by myself. 6bb50d4e06475d78479df7db88627b33.jpg

  5. I was watching a doc on the birth of Seinfeld and Larry was telling a story of him being a writer on SNL.  He had a falling out with one of the producers and quit midseason.  His real life neighbor Kenny Kramer (on whom Kramer was based) convinced him to just go in on Monday and act like nothing had happened.  So he did, and based the George episode of the same situation on that.  He didn't mention if it worked or not though.

  6. OK, surly financial advisors- so my major investments are in two managed accounts, both in equities.  A growth fund with a fair amount of tech and other riskier stocks and a more standard equity fund made up of a lot of blue chips.  But I need to move a decent amount of cash to an investment(s) but want to limit my exposure to straight equities.  What are some low risk, low return investments that I can reasonable bank 4-5% annual returns with limited downside?
