  1. It's your toxic masculinity that she objects to, I'm guessing.
  2. Lanham Act damages will be challenging to prove or disprove. Minnow vs. whale. Buc-ee's just needs to avoid from having their trademark diluted, much like a certain University did with a certain message board full of assholes.
  3. Joe's Bakery says hello.
  4. Same genre was Ted's Steakhouse on Congress. Honorable mention to Mike's Pub in the parking garage at 7th and Brazos.
  5. Nothing more fun than dead babies. RIP to all involved.

Longtime Uptown Dallas steakhouse closes Good news. The Uptown strip mall location never really worked for them. They should have never left the downtown underground speakeasy location. https://www.wfaa.com/article/news/local/dallas-county/uptown-dallas-mortons-steakhouse-closes/287-5a970478-e02e-418e-a6ef-7aff0b5c44ee
  7. But "all you can eat imitation lobster claws!"
  8. Amen on Fred Loya insurance. Lower than dogshit on your shoe.
  9. Had dinner with Mercer Texas/OU weekend. Family friend. Good kid that is really working hard to overcome that last surgery. A solid lefty closer could be great for us. Hook 'em!
  10. My 1969 Mach I Mustang. Wish I still had it.
  11. This isn't hard to understand. The faculty "no confidence" vote. The PLO sympathizers vandalizing his home a couple of times. SMU and a big home in Highland Park (where they actually have a responsive police force) sounds like a nice change of pace. Hope that he does well.
  12. Bring lots of quarters to pay for the DFW turnpike tolls, ladies. Hook 'em!

The Surgeon General says that stuff is bad, bad, bad.
  14. Just to continue the thread derail -- I like my kids way better as adults than when they were kids. A bunch of little shits way back then.
  15. Rick representing! Nicely done.
  16. @Vic Mackey for large girls. @hornian for family law. These subjects may or may not be related.
  17. This is a parting gift to the plaintiff bar to do Tobacco litigation-style lawsuits on behalf of "the people."
  18. Repeating myself from other threads, but I've had great experiences with the last 4 MB sedans that I've owned. Stay away from dealerships once you are out of warranty (in fact, some independent shops are qualified to do some warranty repairs), but having a solid independent MB repair shop is really important. My last oil change on my MB E350 was maybe $225 - 250?
  19. Split pea soup with ham-bone and ham leftovers.
  20. The less that you cross paths with doctors, the better, IMHO. I don't know anyone that has been in that Heart Hospital of Austin that didn't end up with some sort of surgical procedure. When your only tool is a hammer - errything starts looking like a nail. YMMV.
