Money clip or rubber bands depending if I'm feeling gangsta'
I always carry at least $500. I'm old school that way.
And $1,000 in my passport wallet, which stays in my briefcase.

Exactly. She has trouble dumbing down her message and ideas for the morons.
That might explain why she dropped out of the 2020 Democratic Presidential Primary in March, 2020 -- two days after Super Tuesday, no?

What was the steakhouse over in the Gateway development, across from Arboretum? It was really popular for 15 minutes around 2000?
Are you thinking about Reed's Jazz and Supper Club? That was a two-story space. A Reed Clemons deal. It started out as Mezzaluna II, then reincarnated as the Jazz and Supper Club.

Agree on Perry's.
Dos Salsas has a new store at 11301 Burnet Road. That place is about as Tex-Mex as it comes.

That's what I want. I've found there is a world of difference between a truly special Italian place and one that is good.
I think Andiamo and Sienna both fit in the truly special places category. Of these two, Andiamo has less atmosphere, but it is closer to The Domain.

I found an old school hand crank can opener in a drawer and tossed that electric thing.
The electric one gets left out on the counter, has a plug, gets dirty, and takes up space. Its also ugly and offers no efficiencies. If it looked like R2D2, that would be cool, but it doesn't.
Old school hand crank is the way to go.
Aren't you fancy? Old school P-38 is the way to go.

Lots of good suggestions. Will add Roaring Fork at Stonelake. Great HH and fun vibe.

Yep loved growing up in the 70's, buying beer and liquor at 16, but damn their pizza was horrible. It was the first pizza I had ever eaten, and it was so bad I never tried pizza again for probably 8 years.
A couple of us 15-16 y/o HS guys made friends with a certain Pizza Inn waitress who wouldn't card us when we ordered beer and wine. Pizza wasn't great, but underage beer and wine was the best!

King Air is probably a no go. C90 just doesn’t make sense and there are no reasonable 200s right now.
We have a good line on a Cessna 421C. Anyone flown on one of these?
Best friend had a 421C for many years. Great plane. Plenty fast, high, and good range. He put in a new glass cockpit and was comfortable flying it by himself, but always appreciated having somebody in the right seat to help with radios/ATC, and such.
Best of luck.

32 degrees with windchill of 22 and I’m out here watching for one or two more doe to fill the freezer. And in the back of my mind I’m thinking “this is too fucking cold to have to clean a deer”. I guess I’m officially getting old
We are having a TPWD sponsored youth hunt at our lease this weekend. They are planning to take 30+ does -- that will spare us old guys of all that work cleaning deer!
Enjoy your outdoor experience.

Hadn't thought of that place in decades, but yep, same here. Graduation, prom, whatever, that was the place to go.
A big group of us guys and our dates all had the Roman Orgy there together before our Senior Prom. Sadly, the chicks didn't take the hint.

The best thing about the NEISD enchilada recipe is that it absolutely nails the chili gravy. You can't buy that in a can!
OTOH, the NEISD homemade enchilada sauce is pretty indistinguishable from the generic canned HEB red enchilada sauce. I now use that when I make a batch of cheese enchiladas.

Elaine was actually a Doris Day type.
Had another another UT gf, an art major. That one also had a gf at the same time... which turned out pretty kinky. And I'm guessing that one of those two was a Tri-Delt named Farrah Fawcett?

2019 was clean and easy taxes
What is their (alleged) basis for their claim of underreporting? Mismatched 1099s, K-1s, W-2s, real estate sales, etc? Surely the IRS notice gave some of those kinds of details.
-
What is the issue? For instance, it's easy to override TurboTax on your self-employment tax liabilities. The IRS might take issue with that.

I felt pretty bad about her granddaughter Robin though. She was a decent person even though she had to put up with a lot of name-calling from the other kids, which I heard later.
No doubt. Nobody chooses their parents.

This hits close to home. I received a text message tonight telling me that my phone had been compromised on some pron sites and the only solution was to download the enclosed link and pay them money to resolve the situation. Thank goodness that I did that and am now in the clear!
