Why are we not fucking subbing? This is some stupid shit.
  2. Got my results this morning as well. 2nd dose of Pfizer on 3/31. Spike AB at 762 Negative for Prior infection
  3. Yes. Check out the link up thread, sign her up, and then she can go to any location without an appointment. She’ll be in and out in 15 minutes. There are locations all over DFW.

  5. Just did my blood draw for the CARES project. In and out in 15 minutes at the location on Walnut Hill in Dallas. Will report my data for whoever is tracking it here as soon as I get it.
  6. In all seriousness, I’m glad Rex at TexAgs made it. Hopefully his message will reach people who otherwise wouldn’t have gotten the shot.
  7. I'm just looking at the original timeline the vaccines were developed: Jan 11th - Genetic sequence of virus is released publicly Feb 24th - Moderna sends vaccine to NIH for testing March 16th - First volunteer gets the shot That is 65 days. I know there's probably some manufacturing challenges that would need to be addressed, but it also seems like you wouldn't need to have as much time waiting on testing for a fully approved vaccine.
  8. Am I the only one that thinks 95 days is a stupid long number for turnaround? Seems like they should be able to make the changes and start production within 30 days.
  9. My kids are not in school yet but I'm tracking our local school district (HEB ISD). No mask mandate. Week 1 (short week) confirmed positives: 28 students, 14 teachers Week 2 confirmed cases: 158 students, 20 teachers

It's really difficult to think of a more impressive goal than Benny's considering the difficulty and context of the goal. That was when I was first getting into soccer and went to watch the game at Mother Egan's with about 3 or 4 people in the whole bar. Bet it would be way different today sans pandemic.

What's the irony I'm missing here? Just because he'd be going back to Germany?

According to his IG, he's fully vaccinated and is showing no symptoms. Hopefully that means he's well and will still make the qualifiers.
  13. Let me just ruin this for everyone: Josh Green probably isn’t an NBA player. The choices the Mavs have made with regard to his development scream that. At this point, they are probably doing everything they can to preserve value.
  14. Perhaps but don't forget the Clippers were tanking toward the end of the season to play us and still finished 5 games ahead of us.
  15. As far as the West goes, the Clippers and Nuggets are almost certainly going to be worse due to injury. I'm not willing to say the Lakers have improved much because Westbrook is a complete wildcard. Warriors will definitely be better but are another year older. It seems to me the Mavs have a ceiling around the 3 seed if everything breaks right. Hopefully just by having a better playoff matchup, they will be able to get out of the first round.
  16. Geez we are going to have some poor play-making outside of Luka. What a depressing list.
  17. How we feeling about Markkanen? Let's get him and Dragic and create an all-star Euro team.

Italy could be very good for Dest. They might actually teach him how to be a defender.
  20. In the darkest days of the season (February) there were several posters fearing he wouldn't. We now have four years to put a team around him. I think everyone's concern is that after he signs the extension, they are going to be hamstrung to do much to improve the team (aka KP's contract and no draft picks). This is one reason I'd like to trade Brunson and some, not all, of these other moveable contracts (Powell, Maxi, DFS, etc.) to start getting draft assets back. They're going to have to start taking the draft seriously, there's really no other choice at this point. That being said, I do think they did a good, not great, job this offseason. I don't think anyone was out there that was going to fix all their issues, but they did address shooting and added some defense. I can see the offense being very good in the regular season, similar to 2019. I really hope they avoid their typical slow start to the season because I do think they could get the 3 seed if everything breaks their way.
  21. If Toronto is going to be stingy with Dragic, I'd prefer to just get Reggie Jackson. He should be a cheaper option who can still score. Shot 43% from 3 last season.
  22. I just think Brunson is going to cost a ton next summer. Not sure I want to spend a lot on backup pg.
  23. To me, it's not all about there not being a spot for Brunson so much as I don't think they're going to want to pay him next summer. Need to get max value for that contract while you can.
