  1. Too much Wisener thus far. Quinn either needs to play his way out of this funk or we need to bench him. But running the ball isn’t happening.
  2. Trump is going to be older than Biden is now in 2028. I don’t think FoxNews is going to be aboard the Trump train for an old, multi-time loser. He just doesn’t give the GOP a chance to win. I do agree he’ll have a say in who the candidate is, if he’s alive.
  3. Agreed. His support from his own party is not nearly as rock solid as it has been. The Republican primary was pretty damning for him but it seemed to be glossed over by just about every outlet. He’s not fundraising at nearly the pace he was in 2020–when he lost. I just don’t think the enthusiasm is going to be there for an 82 year old, two-time loser in 2028.
  4. Wait, if Trump loses this year, people think 82 year old, even more senile Trump is going to be the candidate in 2028? That’s not going to happen though in a strange way, I’m sure the DNC would love it. Almost a guaranteed victory unless the Harris administration is a total disaster. It’s Haley in ‘28 and I don’t think I there’s a close 2nd.
  5. Another goal for CP vs Lecce today.
  6. Pulisic with a great goal against Inter.
  7. Why is Mexico ranked anywhere close to us? We've demolished them head-to-head for years and it's not like they've had better results than us in tournaments.
  8. I didn't watch their game, only highlights, and I agree they are not in a good spot on offense. If we can keep their run game to just an average game, they will struggle to score many points. Their defense seems pretty damn salty still. Fresno is not a bad team and they only had 3 points well into the 4th quarter. I think if we can get 24 points on them, we probably win. Anything less than that and this is a dogfight.
  9. Do we have a nice summary somewhere showing how much the polls have been under counted the Dems? I'd be curious to see that.
  10. If Harris actually gets a 3-point bump from the convention, this is over. Trump has zero comeback strategy to claw back enough support from a gap that big. Harris would have to have a Biden-like debate performance which is not going to happen.
  11. So have we hired him or not? The lack of any news makes me a little nervous.
  12. Turner needs to go somewhere he is going to play, even if that means MLS. He is not the same keeper he was in the WC.
  13. I'm personally seeing this type of attitude from the top of our org as well. This is especially the case in DFW where all the consolidation and mergers have moved a lot of big companies out of the area. A lot of people are miserable but don't have any alternatives. Really need some small, private companies to start sprouting up when all these non-core assets start going to market.
  14. Pretty sobering article from the WSJ this morning.
  15. Would be a great hire. No idea if it will work but certainly among the best coaches we can get. And now the brilliance of US soccer isn’t going to let him coach against Canada even though he needs all the games he can get.
  16. This is where I'm at as well. I don't think she's going to perform better than Biden here.
  17. It would be an unforeseen opportunity for the new coach to get games against good competition. The tournament would also be much better ran than Copa America. I wish they would do this every gold cup. I’d be much more excited about it rather than teams like Qatar coming.
  18. Would be awesome if true:
  19. I read it's over a 5-year timeline...
