  1. That’s an offensive foul if anything
  2. The NBA was notified of the investigation according to the Mavs and the NBA. an outside investigation was done which showed nothing happened the way Donnie is framing this. It seems like Donnie got tied up trying to make his job more secure.
  3. For Donnie to think he only got fired for retaliation is freaking comical. Dude has done a terrible job for a decade now. Also, his relative gets assaulted and he brings this up 9 months after his termination? This thing is DOA.
  4. This seems like some petty bull shit from Donnie.
  5. Someone is going to have to explain why we're just letting Collins walk for nothing. We need lineman and are only going to save $10 million. Aren't we better served to just keep him?
  6. Damn, not embedding for some reason.

  8. Man...I don't know what else to say other than it would be nice if the teams around us would lose a damn game.
  9. Big game tonight against Brooklyn.

Gio back on the pitch today. Good to see.
  11. So where does THJ fit into this puzzle when he comes back? Seems like you keep the same starting lineup and then have him and Dinwiddie coming of the bench? All of a sudden our bench unit looks really nice in that scenario.
  12. To be fair, I think we all thought Kidd was a terrible hire.
  13. So Dinwiddie is pretty damn solid. Another impressive win. I’m trying not to get too excited.
  14. So....hell of a comeback.
  15. Damn I wasn’t able to watch this one but had low expectations anyway. Good to see DB have a positive impact. How did Dinwiddie look? Pretty underwhelming stat line.
  16. Agreed. Going to need the other starters to pick it up tomorrow against them. They’re going to get a lot of open looks.
  17. Or the fact that it was the clippers and he always torches them.
  18. Like I said earlier in the thread, we're going to have to wait to see what they ultimately end up doing with these players to know how to grade this trade. Maybe they'll be able to attach these contracts and actually be involved in other deals now. In the meantime, rebounding and rim protection is going to be a constant issue.
  19. This is typical Mavs brilliance. Could have signed Dinwiddie in the offseason but decided to spend it on Timmy. Now they trade for him and probably need to dump Timmy's contract. In the end, we still need time to see how this turn outs. In theory, both of these contracts should be easier to move than KPs. But damn, what a backwards way to get to this point.
  20. I am going to be pretty surprised if we have both DP and Maxi on this roster after the trade deadline. We cannot afford to have them on the books next year and also re-sign JB and Doe Doe.
  21. These past two games have been great but make the two before that all the more frustrating. We should have already passed Utah.

I said in this thread a few days back that qualification is definitely not a foregone conclusion. Mexico is capable of beating us and then we would be stuck chasing the final two games. I want no part of having to get a result in Costa Rica. That will not end well. Biggest things I want to see in the final 3 games: 1) Most in-form players at the time. If CP is not getting any minutes, I don't want him starting at Azteca in the altitude. 2) Pepi over Zardes (I feel like this shouldn't even have to be on the list). 3) Someone who can get the ball into good spots for free kicks. CP was absolutely dreadful vs Canada in this regard. Acosta really has a nice ball and that makes a ton of difference in a game. I wish he was more playable against the better teams.
