I said 9-3 going into the season and I’m sticking with it. I think we lose one to either ISU or Baylor. Massive deficiencies on both lines is going to cost us at least one more. There’s no way to scheme around it.
I understand the angst with PK. This was an awful day defensively after Rattler left the game. I still think we have severe talent deficiency more than a coaching problem. 47 at linebacker tries his ass off, but he is so overmatched. We also have absolute shit for pass rush and a secondary that doesn’t seem to be able to track the ball at all. I’m honestly not sure what else PK is supposed to do other than bring more heat in the 2nd half.
There are massive talent holes at every level on defense. That’s not surprising about the LBs, but damn I thought the DTs would at least be able to disrupt some shit this season.
I will first start off saying that I’m a simpleton who doesn’t know shit.
That being said, after CT’s bowl performance it was a major concern this new staff thought Card was the guy. I’ve never been a fan of QBs from system schools like LT, Southlake, etc and tonight has done nothing but confirm that.
Hopefully this is corrected going forward and we still have a decent season.
Honest question regarding the mandates: is it legal for the feds to simply require proof of vaccination or prior infection for domestic flights? I'm skeptical this company mandate is going to amount to much because you already see a whole bunch of posters presenting hypotheticals to get around it.
It sure seems like requiring this for air travel would be way more effective. You want to take your summer vacation to cooler climate? Get the shot or drive your ass there.
Also, I will fully admit I made the old man decision of going to bed instead of watching the 2nd half. Was shocked when I woke up and saw what happened. To me, it still doesn't excuse what might have been one of the worst first half performances from the USMNT that I've ever watched, and I've seen some howlers. I still think there are serious concerns going forward with this coach.
I was just thinking about that front 4 and totally love it, which means we'll probably never see it. Those 3 behind Pepi can interchange so easily, but having so much focus on Puli in the center will open up so much for Reyna and Aaronson. It would be a nightmare to defend.
My point is that approaching record cases doesn't matter as much as hospitalizations at this point. Their healthcare system isn't being overran. We are roughly 3x the number of hospitalized per million.
The UK's hospitalizations are not even close to following cases so it really doesn't matter that much. They are still way below the winter peak. This is the way it should have been here.
I have thought this from the start. Best I can tell from a quick Google search is there are 15% of Americans hesitant about the vaccine. Even if you could get half of them over the line, that would have made a big ass difference.
Berhalter has absolutely nothing when it comes to in-game adjustments. It was that way even when we won this summer and it’s why this team struggles to score from the run of play.
Yes. Check out the link up thread, sign her up, and then she can go to any location without an appointment. She’ll be in and out in 15 minutes. There are locations all over DFW.
