  1. Meh… Dubi’s a better Swiss Army player.
  2. Got my best score ever today and was able to use all Astros to do it:
  3. Got my best score ever today. Plus I was able to use all Astros.
  4. He’s 58, but sure, let’s give it a shot. Wouldn’t be the weirdest shit that has happened this season.
  5. That’s a good name for an Astro. We need more players with names similar to astronomical terms.
  6. This team is gonna lead the division by the break, aren’t they? lulz
  7. Saves are such a dumb statistic. All you have to do is give up fewer than three runs in an inning.
  8. Feels good to finally wake up over .500.
  9. I really hope Jessica Walter is delightedly surprised to see him.
  10. schloss·en·freu·de /ˈSHläsənˌfroidə/ noun- When one derives amusement from watching people lose their minds online because another school hired away their baseball coach.
  11. He was an answer to a Trivial Pursuit question that I nailed many years ago. As the only Texan in the group playing, it blew my friends' minds that I got that one right. I will always be grateful for that moment.
  12. Joey Chestnut being banned from the Nathan's hot dog contest is a fake controversy for publicity, kind of like when IHOP "changed their name" to IHOB.
  13. Man... some of the dresses she used to wear. "Quick Pitch" took on a whole new meaning for me.
  14. I'm sorry y'all. This is not a "home run" hire. It's a fucking "sparks flying from the busted light tower grand slam hire." You get one of the two best coaches in the country and his entire staff while pulling out the spine of your little brother "rival" after they've just had the briefest glimpse of glory before having it snatched away and just before kicking in the door to take over their beloved SECX3.
  15. Haven't been this happy to be .500 since 2015.
  16. If they've know about this since April, Trev is committing malpractice by not having a replacement to announce today.
  17. I think it's pretty clear that this wasn't us money-whipping Schloss. He wanted to come work with CDC. He wanted to be somewhere with all of the advantages of A&M plus a few more. He wanted to be someplace he could trust his AD. The staff and any players that follow aren't money-whipped either. They go with a head coach they respect and who will help build their careers. It's not all about money. It's also about culture. It's also about prestige (Texas is one of the three best baseball programs in history). Y'all need to work a bit more on the last two and not be so focused on the first.
  18. That was a damn fine recovery to only give up one.
  19. In. I'll contribute for a headstone:
  20. Saying "Schloss threw the series" after his team steamrolled through the tournament undefeated until they were seven outs away from securing the championship is next level delusion.
  21. Like other things at A&M, their baseball program had a faulty infrastructure, and once it reached a certain height it collapsed.
  22. Some well camouflaged shade at Trev.
