  1. I tested positive last Thursday, at home and PCR. First timer. Was negative this morning with an at home test, but I've probably been negative for at least a few days now. Symptoms started last Tuesday. I had 3 symptoms, mild nasal congestion, sore neck/lower back and my sense of taste was going in and out over the weekend. All very mild.

It's showing this weekend in Austin at the Regal Arbor. https://www.regmovies.com/theatres/regal-arbor-great-hills/0661#/buy-tickets-by-cinema?in-cinema=0661&at=2022-06-26&view-mode=list
  3. Well I had a good run. I was in the Moderna trial in Aug. of 2020. Had my booster this past November. Started with congestion on Tuesday and some sore muscles the last two days. No cough, fever or headache yet. Been petty mild so far. Did the at home test this morning and it showed positive right away. Is anyone else taking Paxlovid for this strain?
  4. Longhorn Tavern Steakhouse in Bryan, TX. Best of the Brazos Valley they say. It was damn good. Had that nice yellowish tint to the cream gravy.
  5. San Diego is always a great time. Visited my nephew and his wife, who is doing travel nursing, last weekend. They are staying at a condo on Mission Bay. Did some boogie boarding and golfing and lots of eating! Chilaquiles at the original Broken Yolk Cafe near Pacific Beach. Watching the horns Friday at the Sandbar Sports Grill. Bone marrow tacos at Tuetano Taqueria in Old Town. This taco was incredible! Chicken and waffles and coffee at the original Hash House A Go Go. Halibut sandwich at El Pescador Fish Market in La Jolla. Jager Schnitzel and apple strudel at Kaiserhof Restaurant as seen on Restaurant Impossible. Padres game A little golf at Torrey Pines North Course. Cheese wheel pasta dish and lamb shank at Monello's. The pasta dish was the best bite of the week. They toss the pasta in a 60 lb Parmigiano cheese wheel before serving.
  6. Yeah, and he's wearing old school wrangler jeans in the hot ass sun. But the joe dirt hair is impressive.
  7. I've been parasailing once and it was smooth sailing. After reading this thread however, that will probably be the last time. I've also been skydiving, bungee jumping and zip lining. I would go bungee jumping and zip lining again out of those 3.
  8. That's a bummer, mine went through early this morning. I guess before all hell broke loose.
  9. Happy Masters lottery ticket application day!! Good luck gentlemen! https://www.masters.com/en_US/info/tickets/index.html
  10. Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument about an hour outside of town is worth a stop if you like history. That's all I got.
  11. Saw it tonight. I was 8 when the original came out. I saw the original again on Tuesday as a refresher. I thought this one was better than the original. Fight me!
  12. Thank you. I'm going to do an in home test Friday morning before my nieces high school graduation on Friday evening just to be sure.
  13. I thought my number had finally been called. Woke up Sunday with a scratchy throat, then felt more congested as the day went on. Been pretty congested the last couple of days. Throat is not sore, mild cough, some sneezing and runny nose. Got a PCR test Sunday, results came back today, negative for both covid and the flu. Guess it's just the good ole common cold. Still covid free, for now.
  14. Had my annual boil yesterday. 31 pounds. The crawfish size was very good.
  15. 10 year old me had a huge crush on the Judd's (Naomi). Saw them at the Houston rodeo a couple of times in the late 80's, early 90's.
  16. Randy Rogers played from 7:30 until about 7:50. Willie played from 8 until about 9. George went on at 9:30. Played 4 songs after the encore, walked off the stage at 11:45. Was Amazing!
  17. SW has changed my Omaha flights 3 times since I booked them in February after we started 11-0. You gotta believe!! 😄
  18. My niece just accepted her offer of admittance to UT this morning after mulling it over, for far too long, with a few other schools! She's lived her entire life in College Station, with Aggie parents to boot, so I feel like my work here is done. 😀
  19. Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube and Too Short at Round Rock Amp tonight.
  20. I was in Vegas in December and got a 12 oz Coors Lite in a plastic cup at the Caesars sports book bar for only $14.50, plus tip. Yeah, no more beers at the casino bar for me that trip.
  21. I booked my flight a few weeks ago and got my hotel and rental car on Thursday. Who's with me!?!
  22. It was a very moving experience. They had the recordings of the passenger's last phone calls to their families you could listen to. Gut wrenching. When I got home I watched the movie again about Flight 93. Those passengers are true heros. I can't imagine. "Flight 93 struck the ground at a 40 degree angle almost upside down, hitting right wing and nose first, at a speed of between 563-580 miles per hour. It was carrying approximately 5,500 gallons of Jet A fuel at impact." https://www.nps.gov/flni/learn/historyculture/sources-and-detailed-information.htm

My first time to try Red Ash tonight and it did NOT dissapoint! I was able to snag a reservation for one, at the bar, about a month ago. I started with beef bone marrow. The bone marrow and the garlic bread to soak up the fatty juices stole the show. A must get. Then for my main I had Osso Buco Milanase with risotto and a pork/veal ravioli dish. For dessert I had the lava cake. Very large portions! 10/10
