  1. not exactly Texas Tech related, but hits pretty close to home

    https://www.everythinglubbock.com/news/local-news/reagor-dykes-companies-file-for-chapter-11-bankruptcy/1339697208

they have been buying and building shit all over Lubbock and the high plains (like Jody Nelson only with actual businesses) I wondered how they were getting it done because there is no magic formula in the auto business

fucking with your floor plan is a major no no I don't see how they pull out of this

  2. it would seem the 5* receiver from Austin that had UT as 8% would be the only recruit there is currently a serious chance at

it would be nice to grab a couple of those lineman, but other than that not sure who Texas really needs that tOSU currently has committed

Right now every SEC team has an assistant madly searching for arrest records of any human who ever worked for Saban.

yea and Alabama has hit men searching for those same people (and their close friends and family) with arrest records

And from ohio friends meyers wife knew obviously and she works for osu

    SO SHE GONE ALSO!!!

even if they wanted to keep urban would he stick around after they send his wife to the curb?

sure he is leaving a hell of a lot of cash on the table to "stick up for" his wife, but if they throw her under the bus and keep him that would still make him look like a shit bag and make it look like he let his wife take the fall because who would believe she did not tell him

plus if they are ready to shit can her, but not him he can still get a couple of million most likely if he goes in and says he is leaving and he can either leave the easy way or leave the hard way with the hard way being blowing up the program on the way out.....they would pay in a heart beat

if the txt are true his wife is fucked no matter what

damn just looking tOSU has some shitty fan forums I can't figure out what is the main one and they all suck as far as formatting

tim beck knew nothing that is why he is the #1 immediate replacement for urban

My expectations are low in yr 1 of the Kelly regime.  But they skyrocket from there.

don't get too excited if Chipper does well at the west coast A&M of football you can count on Brazos River A&M hiring Chipper away for $12 million a year guaranteed for 12 years after jumbo fails in 3 years

I'm not holding out hope.  OL is suspect- again- and Soso just doesn't have the speed.  We've got a couple other backs who may slot ahead of him.  I'd like to see him catch passes either out of the backfield or split out wide.

Our strengths are go to be at WR/TE, and most of the D.  Fall camp starting now and we have no QB.  UM grad transfer Wilton Speight looks to be the likely candidate, but Devon Modster and true FR Dorian Thompson-Robinson will both push for it.  DTR is likely the heir apparent.

soso seems to be a bit of a dodo as well and that does not help things

I’m not sure if maybe you’re writing all this out for the benefit of other people or something, but I’m well aware of exactly what CU has done in every game of Mac’s tenure. Happy to place some bets here if you’re game. CU will win more than 4 this year.

there are plenty of places where you can place money on how you feel they will do this year

I don't think picking them to win one less than they have averaged over the last 5 years is a real stretch, but they could have a great first game against CSU (that will be coming off a probable home win over Hawaii) or they could pick up a win against one of the multitude of new head coaches or second year coaches in the PAC 12 and get  to 5 or even 6 wins, but that is hardly an achievement

I think some of the new head coaches will simply have their teams more excited to go play a winnable game and or CSU will benefit from having played a home game already before facing CU, but who knows

the UCLA game will probably be a real telltale game for them if they can win it maybe they can have a decent season if they lose it I think they can still beat ASU, but then lose two in a row to USC and UW and it goes down hill from there with only Oregon State being a probably win and a pirate mike team that has quit on the pirate

I need someone to point me to a good sports betting site. No way CU finishes 4-8 this year.

well looking at their records under mac

    4-8

    2-10

    4-9

    10-4

    5-7

I would say the odds favor 4 wins (maybe 5) much more than they favor 6+ wins

even in that 10-4 season they played some terrible teams in the PAC 12 and their "big wins" were Stanford 10-3 and WSU coached by mike the pirate that routinely loses to CU and that routinely loses to teams that can control the ball with the run.....and that generally has at least one brain fart game every season if not two

the CU wins that year were CSU 7-6, D1-AA Idaho State, Oregon 4-8, Oregon State 4-8, ASU 5-7, Stanford 10-3, UCLA 4-8, AU 3-9, WSU 8-5 (with a loss to a D1-AA team), Utah 9-4

so even Stanford, WSU and Utah were getting a lot of their wins against a lot of other shitty Pac 12 teams in a really bad year for the Pac 12....and CU got thumped by the fighting mullets of OkState in the Alamo Bowl Presented By Sally Brown's Cookies

Oregon is actually 7-2 in conference in your scenario, meaning UW wins the North on head-to-head. I can live with that. I can also see your outcome for UW, although I'll be in Atlanta the first Saturday in September anyway.

Oh, and Arizona is UA... this isn't the Big 8 (NU, CU, KU, MU, OU - WTF? Never figured that out. Sounds aggy).

    corrected thanks

I don't think they go 0-3 against Wisconsin, PSU, and MSU. Their schedule is pretty fucking tough, though, and I wouldn't be surprised to see them go 8-4/9-3 but lose to Ohio State yet again, and all the baseless speculation about Harbaugh being on the hot seat starts to become not so baseless.

I could see them winning one of those, but I can also see them losing to kNowledge

  12. 8 minutes ago, Hagbard Celine said:

aggy would lose their fucking minds

yea, but they will get over it because of already killing themselves after jumbo goes 7-6 at best and possibly 6-7

AU has a really nice schedule with BYU, Houston and Southern Utah and they should win all 3 even though they lost to Houston last year in a close one I think the UH administration knew they were going to ditch the UTSA game no matter what (even before they told UTSA) and and told Major and the team that and to go ahead and focus on AU so there was about 5 extra days of AU preparation

then AU has Oregon State (road) so that is a win then a USC (home) team that may well already have two losses to UT and Stanford then another pretty much sure win Cal (home) then Utah which I think they can put some extra time in for then UCLA catches them off guard and Rumlin has to face a decent coach then Oregon that I think will catch them off guard then easy street with Colorado, WSU and ASU with two of the three at home and WSU hardly having a home field advantage and a team that will have quit and a coach going insane

hell even if you give them a loss for USC and Utah that is still 8-4 and aggy can at least hang their head on "same old Rumlin" while talking about the major upside of jumbo after he cleans house (never mind it will be some of his own recruits getting cleaned out with arrest issues)

  13. this is how I see the PAC 12 ending 2018

UO 10-2 3-0 7-2 losses to Washington, Arizona
UW 9-3 2-1 7-2 losses to Auburn, Utah, UCLA
Stanford 7-5 1-2 6-3 losses to SDSU, ND, UW, UO, USC
WSU 4-8 2-1 2-7 losses to Wyoming, USC, Utah, Oregon, CU, Stanford, AU, UW
Cal 4-8 2-1 2-7 losses to NC/BYU (lose one of the 2), UO, AU, UCLA, CU, UW, USC, Stanford
Oregon State 1-11 1-2 losses to tOSU, Nevada, 0-9 lose to errbodie in conference

AU 10-2 3-0 8-2 lose to UCLA in a major upset and Oregon
Utah 9-3 3-0 6-3 losses to Stanford, AU, Oregon
UCLA 8-4 2-1 6-3 losses to OU, Utah, Stamford, Oregon
USC 6-6 1-2 5-4 losses to Texas, ND, Stamford, AU, Utah, UCLA
CU 4-8 1-2 3-6 losses to CSU, Nebraska, UCLA, ASU, USC, UW, AU, Utah
ASU 3-9 1-2 2-7 losses to MSU, SDSU, UW, Stanford, USC, Utah, UCLA, Oregon, AU
