  1. I got a load of horse manure this morning for composting ($10 for them to load trailer) and this afternoon I got about 70 bales of hay for mulch/composting ($50 for the load). The hay got rained on so the farmer can't use it for feed. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  2. I've heard of it being done but haven't ever tried. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  3. In case you haven't noticed yet...at those temps 3-2-1 will turn them into mush. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  4. My cucumbers have gone to shit. We went out of town for 5 days and came back to the cucumber plants basically dead. Looks like I had gotten powdery mildew and didn't catch it before we left. It rained while done so that didn't help. Vine borers got the rest of the squash and zucchini. Looks like I will be out in the garden tomorrow pulling up dead plants and getting ready for a fall garden. Really never have done a fall garden due to it coinciding with hunting season, but I'm going to give it a try this year. I grew some romaine in the spring and family like it sp going to go for some salad items. I want to do a bunch of peas and green beans. Tomato plants are going good except for two of them. Thinking it might be hornworm. I'm going to take a black light out tonight for inspection before it gets to others. I'm usually able to keep my tomato plants going into the fall for a second harvest. I just have to build the top section of the tomato cages so it is high enough for them to grow. I've been able to harvest 6 cantaloupes and 5 spaghetti squash this week, along with a bunch of okra.
  5. Check out DIY wicking pots so you don't have to water as much. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  6. More interesting is who will determine when the pandemic is over. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  7. I'm not gay, but if you cook like this all the time I'll give it a try.
  8. Take it to 200 and do the probe test just to check. I try to probe between the bones and get all the way down to check for tenderness.
  9. The park down by the jetties and the drive on access that is maintained by the county has closed. SPI beach is still open and accessible. Just have to have a place to park, which this weekend is going to be almost impossible.

Went today and they had a sign over the all you can eat option. Still went hard.
  11. Sounds like a rental is in your near future.
  12. Blackbeard's on SPI for fried seafood.
  13. Another pickle batch and I guess it's time to make some salsa.
  14. Not sure if they are open or not due to the Rona, but if you are down there you have to go to Port Isabel for the taco as big as your face.
  15. Well damn it. Something has eaten all the leaves off my pepper plants (bell, sweet and japs). The peppers are there and just the stem. I was in garden on Sunday and everything looked okay. I checked for horn worms but don't see any and usually they attack the tomato plants.
  16. They have contracted with my company for a free 6 month membership for Telemedicine services through their T-Mobile Tuesday's deal. All you have to do is have the T-Mobile Tuesday app downloaded to redeem with a click and put in your information. This is for ALL existing T-Mobile and Sprint customers, so sign up as the numbers help my company and it's free to you.
  17. Social distancing and chance of Rona by taking the family on a cheap trip (airfare and hotel rates) or waiting for all this to blow over. Hard decision.....
  18. Did I see that Universal opened back up with very small crowds or was it another park?
  19. So what's the word on Universal and Disney reopening, along with their resort hotels?
