  1. Bunch of DIY videos on YouTube about growing potatoes you can check out.
  2. What kind of soil? Potatoes do well in well draining loose soil which here in North Texas would mean deep raised bed. That's why I've never tried. My raised bed is only 12" which is good for plants but not for potatoes.
  3. Right now, probably not much benefit from just having pre-check. However, when I was flying more for work it was nice to have as so many people have pre-check now that line was getting longer and longer. I liked having Clear and Pre-Check, which essentially took you to the front of the pre-check line with no wait.
  4. I saw where Pecan Lodge had another fire in one of their pits Friday night. They will be cooking at 1/2 capacity until they get the air ducts fixed. This is the 2nd overnight fire that they have had. Either someone isn't watching the fire or they need to clean out their pits more often.
  5. Where's the 3rd tray of all the banana pudding and peach cobbler, of course with ice cream topping?

Pecan Lodge had another fire overnight in one of their pits on Friday. Smoking at half capacity now. This is their 2nd overnight fire. Someone needs to pay better attention or clean out the pits more often.
  7. Getting there at 7:30 on a weekday should put you right up by the front door.
  8. The picture quality probably isn't going to get much better in order to be to get them to broadcast them remotely. Remember that there will be a nice picture on the SD card within the camera if you want more detail. The reason to get cell cameras is more for patterning and usage of a certain spot more than anything else.
  9. Yep, after doing research I went with Cuddelink. I like having as many cameras I want to put out and be under just one plan. Quality and reliability has been good for the past 2 seasons.
  10. I have the Cuddelink system.
  11. If you have a good signal for your phone, then it shouldn't be a problem. Works off the exact same technology.
  12. My go to when I go hard in the paint.
  13. The onion rings are good, but love their fries with salt and pepper with spicy ketchup.
  14. Found the outfitter on Facebook on the Texas Dove Hunter page. My duck hunting property is outside of Ferris down by the Trinity.
  15. It actually laid out nicely where you can't shoot across from anyone and if you want to hunt out in the middle of the field, you can do so safely. My plans are to get away from the tree line/shade hunters with my son and hunt out by some powerlines the are on the far edge of the field. Saw tons of birds lighting out there
  16. I'm hoping that everyone can space themselves out and not hoard up a certain area. Once Nobemver comes, I won't touch that field again as I have my own duck and deer place to hunt.
  17. For the season.
  18. Went and checked out a 130 acre sunflower field by Ennis. Place is packed with whitewing. I drove 100 yards along the field to meet up with the outfitter and got out with the checkbook in hand. The outfitter said "You want to see the other end of the property?" As long as you are only allowing 20 guns on here, sure, let's burn some of your diesel. Had to have been at least 600 birds flying into that field while I was there. I got a video of about 50 whitewings coming into the field and light right out in the middle. Looks like my son and I are set for dove now.
  19. Check out Redneck Blinds. I have soft side and plenty of room. It doesn't get cold enough in Texas for me to spend the extra money to have it all enclosed with windows.
  20. I did the duck wing survey last year.
  21. Griddled up some Surf & Turf last night. Scallops and Chicken with okra. Used some Tony's on the okra for a little zip and it was damn good. First time trying the okra on the griddle. Will be in the rotation now. Instead of having it all cooking at once and accidentally overcooking the scallops, I cooked it one dish at a time and put in a warm aluminum pan on a burner that I had on medium and then turned it off. Okra was first, then chicken, then the scallops.
  22. Good harvest from today. All the tomatoes didn't make the picture.
  23. I would like to see a pic with his head up. He doesn't seem to have much drop in the brisket or stomach. You have history with him so you could be right.
  24. With the bino pics I'll change that to a 3 year old.
  25. I think you are spot on 4-5 years old.
