  1. I've done those, but like the Sandwich cauliflower thins from Outer Isle. You can find them Whole Foods or on their website https://www.outeraislegourmet.com/products/cauliflower-sandwich-thins?gclid=Cj0KCQiAwP3yBRCkARIsAABGiPoRwu7cDxu_eAxnRbvDc85YUVxT3Mbn5owYDdKvhluI1qofi36FWi0aAnhFEALw_wcB or Amazon delivers. They make a great substitute for flour tortillas.
  2. Heard on the radio that several airlines will be putting on deals for tickets starting today to pump up flights over the next couple of months.

I was just coming to ask the same thing. Word is that the pitmasters come from LA BBQ and Franklin's.
  6. Talk about high as a giraffe's nuts. Guess I'll have to work extra panhandling on the highway corner before the trip. Thanks for the report.
  7. If they were taking care of ALL expenses that would be the route to go. We have $1,000 resort credit for the week. Looks like that will be blown through in short order.
  8. This is an incentive trip that my wife qualified for so I've got that going for me.
  9. HEB the TOP United States Grocery Retailer How does this happen when HEB is never open? https://www.wfaa.com/article/life/heb-top-us-grocery-retailer-2020/269-7f94aaca-e451-41cb-aa35-1b9f5781c4f6

  11. I've smoked with one when helping out a local bbq restaurant and liked it.
  12. To go with the list from above: If you have little tykes, take them to the Magic House. Cool, hands on things to do. Imo's is a good place to try St. Louis Style Pizza. Get their salad and some fried raviolis to go with the pizza.
  13. Lots of things to do in Virginia.
  14. An Oyler can put out some good bbq and one that can be left unattended for an overnight cook. Not sure about how it does a hot-n-fast style that Champ may like.
  15. Glad you are back in the game and in the role that you like.

    Brisket elotes…..HOLY SHIT....Got to try
  17. I know you are there for work so you may not go playing golf, so if not see what others have to say about it. Seems like it should be a nice course. Would enjoy a rundown of your thoughts on the experience there. We are doing the Powerboat Tour one day but looking at what else there is to do other than just lay around the resort.
  18. First, bravo on the only $149 bump to First Class. First class has the right and I actually want them to jump up as soon as the seat belt light goes off, so they are ready to get the line going off the plane as soon as the door opens. In fact, the ones who wait till the door opens and then gets up, takes their sweat ass time gathering their things gets me a little surly.
  19. Reporting Dashboard from John Hopkins about the Kung Flu. https://gisanddata.maps.arcgis.com/apps/opsdashboard/index.html#/bda7594740fd40299423467b48e9ecf6
  20. You at the Baha Mar?
  21. Headed down in April for a week. Staying at Grand Hyatt Baha Mar and looking for some local restaurant recs and activities. Got booked for an all day private island thing with a large group of us on Thursday but that's all I have so far. Have meetings most of the mornings while we are there, but afternoons are open. Anyone familiar with the resort golf course. Going to be a group of us, so that may be the easiest and looks like a nice track but cost is $220 for an afternoon round.
  22. People like that are the reason i get out of my seat and stand in the aisle when the plane pulls in. Feels good to stretch and i love blocking fuckers like that. I really don't get the people that automatically bounce from their seats as soon as the seat belt light goes off at the gate. Then start opening up all the overhead bins, trying to get their luggage out, almost hitting people in the head still sitting and squeezing it between them and the other knothead in front of them that also is doing the same thing, all while being in row 30. Just chill out people. It all starts up at the front and I assure you, you will get out of the plane.
  23. Check out Instant Pot recipes. I came across a venison and mushroom roast recipe that was good.
  24. Ended up going here as that is what the little woman wanted. Both of us had a fish dish and shared the Lobster Thermidor as an appetizer. Nice Caribbean spices and atmosphere. Lunch today was Coney I-Lander as the original Coney Island is closed on Sundays. The dogs and frito pie were great.
  25. Those "old" flavors you can typically still get. The cookie jar was a flavor of the month and not on the main menu. After it was gone, I was still able to order it. They ring up an Oreo blizzard but they have the recipe card of what goes in it. I did this when they pulled the Mississippi Mud Fudge blizzard. Still was able to order. Whatever flavors you ask, it is all blended together.
