  1. Had a bowl of the S'Mores this more. That shit is good. Like golden grahams with crack. Yes, I had it with whole milk.
  2. Was at the grocery store tonight and while going through the cereal aisle my boy spots S'Mores cereal. He asks if we can get it and I tell him if we are going to eat cereal than we are going balls to the wall with it. I picked up 2 boxes and tossed them into the cart like a manly man in front of the boy. Now, not a word of this is to get back to momma.
  3. Finished up the pickles, then went out to the garden to put on extensions to my homemade large tomato cages. This will allow them to grow 8'+ to keep the production going. While trimming up some overgrowth on the cucumbers I came across one that had been hiding. Glad I got to it before it got bigger and spoiled. Has anyone ever grown or seen purple bell peppers? I swear the tag on them said green bell peppers, but these are purple as all get out. They are pretty and kids think they are something special. Also found 2 more black swallowtail caterpillars on the fennel. Kids will bring them inside in a couple of days to make their cocoons and then release them after they become butterflies.
  4. Hot day outside, so a good day to make pickles.
  5. Went out of town for 3 days on business and came back to a sizeable harvest.
  6. Where do we sign up for the in-home tutorial?
  7. So I was staying at some fancy smancy resort this week on business and the bathroom had a bidet. First time coming across the device and as I'm sitting on the toilet the first time, I started thinking "Am I suppose to use it before I wipe, after I wipe, don't wipe at all, at what water pressure should I use, what if the water is really cold, what if the water is hot, should I use the front spray to give the boys a shower?" It was just too much and I bailed on using it. What is the proper etiquette for the bidet usage so I know the next time?
  8. Guess what, at some restaurants I order Shrimp Fajitas. I'm fucking up all kinds of cultures.
  9. I'm behind on getting my shade cloth up. Usually comes out first of July, but with the current temps, I should have had it out at least a week ago and I'll leave it up through August at minimum. I look to keep it up until the nightly temps get back down into the 70's, especially over the tomatoes.
  10. Griddle gets 400+ degrees. Certainly hot enough for a quick char without overcooking it. If the chicken breast is really thick, I'll cut it up for better results.
  11. Hey retard, guess what is in my third pick....yep, seasoned skirt steak. It was cut against the grain before serving as it should be. I know what cut of meat is traditional fajita but I don't give a fuck and will call the chicken breast "chicken fajita" just because I feel like it. Now go Bobby Flay somewhere else.
  12. Got them already marinaded from the Mexican market, along with the fajitas. Do you get prepackaged meat for the cheesesteak sandy? I've tried to find thinly sliced ribeye to make them but can't find it anywhere.
  13. It was a good one on shaggy and I got some good tips/meals from others, so starting it over here. I'll start it off with the customary, fajita dinner. Threw some onions and bell peppers on the Blackstone, then went with chicken and beef fajitas, plus a few tablitas (if that is how its spelled). Not pictured is the heating of the tortillas. Had it all with guacamole, rice and beans.....damn good dinner.
  14. Sounds like you may need to go longer on the pit after coming after the foil. The foil will get them "mushy" and they need to firm back up. You could also go shorter on the wrap time.

    Dallas | BBQ

Had Hutchins in McKinney for lunch. 2 meat plate with their free banana pudding for dessert.
  16. Hutchin's BBQ in McKinney still on point. 2 meat plate with moist brisket and chicken. Of course, had to partake in the free banana pudding dessert.
  17. For those looking for a planting/harvest calendar set by their location, here is a link to the Farmer's Almanac calendar plan. https://www.almanac.com/gardening/planting-calendar Set you location to print off a calendar and you can put in your email address to set up reminders on when to plant.
  18. I'll go ape shit on some coons if they start that. They may screw me out of corn from the feeders on my hunting land, but no way on the homestead.
  19. Yep because if we don't beat them, it makes the comeback trail impossible.
  20. Bit? You talking about the grinder plate?
  21. You are killing it with the cucumbers. Still only getting a few here. However, I did harvest my first ears of corn. Had to cut off some worm damage and some kernels didn't form, which was expected if you read my previous posts. Still happy with them. Will cook them up later this week.
