How did y’all pick a team? That’s my thing. It’s hard for me to just hop on a bandwagon and maintain that loyalty through “tough” times if I have no history with that team. Did y’all just blindly select a team, or how did that work for most of y’all?

Watch some matches every weekend. Your team will find you. For me, Liverpool was a team I was always interested in based on the connection to the Beatles and a local radio guy here in DFW always talking about them and his travels to see them. This was back when you had to hunt for EPL matches in the US on DirecTV or pay an assload for a soccer package. I think the first match I watched was Liverpool at Wigan. It wasn't great, I think it was a 1-0 game on midweek at 2pm on Fox Sports Net. Watched them some more over subsequent seasons and kept coming back to rooting for them over other clubs. Now, we're so lucky to get almost every match in some form televised on NBC Sports. And don't worry about being a bandwagoner. We're all technically bandwagoners. We didn't grow up a Scouser, a Toffee, a Gunner, or a Spur. We have the luxury of choice over here. There, it's where you're born or who your father rooted for.

Obviously, London clubs are easier if you want to go see them in person. Read up on some histories and see if any of them seem to be a fit.

    Good stuff here

If this guy tweeted this and didn't stop down, get a name, and ask immediately to talk to a supervisor, he's part of the problem.

Tweeting this shit doesn't do shit and lets these cowards keep on being cowards.

Right. Just feeding the rage machine instead of actually getting pieces of shit like the CBP guy fired.

Terrible story, but why do people write shit like this?

This is the part you focus on? I'd imagine being a female in a world of 500 lb fatass males who can kill you and stuff you in a car before burning your body might make you feel a lot more unsafe than a man who could possibly get mugged and murdered. It wouldn't shock me for it to come out later that she was sexually assaulted. How many dudes have to worry about that in broad daylight?

  4. I would've answered back that you get extreme claustrophobia sitting in a middle seat and that's why you specifically buy the aisle seat for the extra room and ability to get up and walk around to calm your anxiety.

I think you were within your right to tell her no but then it possibly escalates if she gets annoyed that you are "not respecting her request", which really isn't a request.

  5. 2 is fun because they crashed the fucking plane full of Brits just to be assholes. My dad used to travel for a living and I remember he was so pissed about that scene as we were leaving the theater.

The problem with Die Hard is it went from Average Joe Cop thrown into impossible situations to Bruce Willis Action Hero doing ridiculous things like in Die Hard 4. He ceased being John McLane and became the same character he is in every action movie.
