  1. Just a couple of seamheads, better than the rest
  2. They love this drone shot on the broadcast. Radar looks like it's going to rain in the 4-5pm hour.
  3. App is a little clunky but the presentation looks great.
  4. Signed up for Victory+. It's easier than trying to find a good stream that doesn't put porn ads all over my screen. Great seeing Elvis doing pre-game.
  5. I asked you to bag up the leaves and instead
  6. They are slowly, and I do mean very slowly at 15 minutes at a time, teasing out the cast of Avengers:Doomsday. This tweet was appropriate. https://x.com/screenrant/status/1904916652594016397
  7. I don't know. I think it handled it all pretty well. Great performance by Stephen Graham who I kept wondering where I had seen him before. He was Tommy in Snatch.
  8. Yeah, the wife and I started and finished Adolescence last night. There just wasn't a great stopping point. An absolutely fantastic series.
  9. It's sad but it's inevitable. Real Madrid is the ultimate destination for some players. I didn't think Trent was one of them given he's from Liverpool but maybe he was just ready for a change combined with playing with his buddy, Jude. It's like joining the Lakers.

    Measles

I would check with your primary care doctor and they can probably test you to see if you have it. If you don't, you can get the vaccine again.

    Whatcha reading?

    Finished it tonight
  12. Yeah, I'm glad Willow, Time Bandits, and the Return of the Jedi all came out before Dinklage decided he was the only little person who can get roles.
  13. It's a flop because we're in a time when 87 million dollars worldwide in one weekend is considered bad because you've saddled a movie with a 250 million dollar budget from the onset. How these movies get this out of control budget wise is just beyond me. Looking at the movie I'm trying to figure out where the money went. Is it mostly a CGI budget because Ziegler and Gadot can't charge that much to be in a movie?

    Whatcha reading?

Wife recommended I read this after my last book as a good follow-up and she was correct. About half way through and this is great. A really good take on the original source material that's told in a very unique manner.
  15. Disney needs to do more Cruella and Maleficent type films and less of these straight up remakes with minor changes that seem to offend everyone.
  16. Let's all enjoy Prestige TV Star Wars while we get the chance.
  17. It ramps up but it's a bit of a slog. They're just making shit up at this point and I don't enjoy the adult portions at all because it's just dumb. But my kids love it so we keep watching. The portion where they're young is much more enjoyable. There's supposedly 2 more seasons since they're just now in the 2nd summer and they get rescued 2 years after the crash. I believe they get rescued after the 2nd winter.
  18. Yeah but Lilo & Stitch is going to do a shitload of business. I think it's more people just might be tired of old animated movies being redone.
  19. Chelsea's read on Saxon was tough but fair.
  20. Excellent finale. It really sticks with you. Yes, Innie Mark is a bit of a teenage bitch but you understand why he does it. Plus he did what he said he was going to do in the first episode, get Ms. Casey out. The marching band scene was fantastic. Let's hope it doesn't take 3 years before season 3 comes out.
  21. Yeah but illegals and trans people.
  22. Finance bros isn't really the issue since Disney doesn't need them. The issue is more Disney isn't seeing any benefit to new ideas and stories since the public rarely supports them now. The last non-sequel animated hit for Disney was Moana. That was 2016. Strange World and Wish did poorly. Raya and Encanto were casualties of Covid and Disney+ coming online. Maybe Encanto cleans up if it came out today instead of 2021. On the PIxar side, It's a similar issue since Coco was the last original hit and that was 2017. Onward had a chance to do well but then Covid killed the box office. Elemental did okay, better than the last original before Onward which was The Good Dinosaur. There's some mediocre content in there for sure and I don't lay all the blame on the public. It's just there's also very little evidence that original content will do well going forward. I guess we'll see how Elio does. After that, it will be a while before we see any new content that's not a sequel, prequel, or offshoot.
  23. From what I've seen online, people think Rachel Ziegler is really good in it and Gal Gadot and the CGI dwarves are fairly terrible. We'll wait for Disney+.
