  1. Ha ha. That late November to Christmas Day is going to be so rough.
  2. I think everyone is paranoid of being found out or failing into a trap. They also didn't trust Luthen and thought he could've been compromised. It's also the same two people in Rogue One who didn't want to attack the base on Scariff because they were scared.
  3. In my head canon, Kino Loy went out like a boss after the Empire came to reinforce the prison. He wasn't going back in.
  4. The piercing the veil scene was I think what people were saying was the surprise since it definitely added a new element to the story. Or people just couldn't handle Hailee Steinfeld talking about him burying his face in her cooz and f'ing her so hard. I went ahead and bought the pre-order for this on Ultra 4K HD. I hope the IMAX aspect ratios are included. Sinners will pass 300 million worldwide very soon. Already over 218 million domestically. It should make a ton this week being back in IMAX theaters.
  5. And now it's been announced that Dallas plays at Washington on Christmas Day at 1pm on Netflix. A real place to see and be seen.
  6. He had a robot friend to play with. The force line didn't bother me. It's in keeping with the OT. General Dodonna says it to the pilots before the Battle of Yavin. I feel like it was something said to people who remembered the time when the Jedi were the keepers of the peace. If anything, George polluted that with the prequels. Even Tarken tells Vader you are all that is left of that religion. Dedra's ending reminded me of the Colonel from Boogie Nights. Shut up, Dedra!
  7. Which is interesting because one of the big things about how different Rogue One was that the Rebellion was willing to get their hands dirty. Andor gets a kill order for Galen Erso from Draven. It wasn't oh just rescue him like you'd expect from the OT rebels. It was more Han blowing away Greedo. And what sucks about some of this is Gilroy is being celebrated for his brilliance and how he rewrote Star Wars. And yet, he can't get funding for his next project with Oscar Isaac in the lead role.
  8. Also looking at Florian Wirtz from Bayer.
  9. Excellent. The pool is awesome at that place and you and the wife can get some frozen awesomes from the bar there while he swims.

I think it's more the place is super popular already. I went by the other day at 6pm and the entire parking lot was full. El Vecino sometimes has an hour wait.
  11. Yeah. So in.
  12. Alright, first off I would recommend a split stay then which you may already be doing. Spend the DL days in Anaheim at Pixar Hotel but stay up in Burbank/Studio City for the Universal days. I highly recommend the Hilton across the street. You can walk under 10 minutes up a hill to the steps of Universal. It's great. You're also close to CityWalk for dining options. I wouldn't recommend going from Anaheim to Universal each day because that car trip sucks and you're looking at least an hour each way. Early entry at Universal is exactly how you need to do Super Mario Land. That place fills up quickly. Get him a power band that he can use in the land to interact with things. He'll love it. You can buy them at CityWalk or as you're entering the park. The Mario part is at the very bottom of the park but they have a shop right near the entrance where you can buy the band. You set it up on your phone which you can do as you walk down the multiple escalators. We found Universal to be a breeze. We didn't even get their version of Fastpass. The Harry Potter area is dead at night. Perfect time to ride things over and over. Get some butter beer. For DL, I recommend checking out this lady's posts. She can help you with a good plan for doing the parks with a 7 year old and in general her information is good. That's a pretty magical age to hit up Disneyland. My youngest was 6 at the time we first went and Frozen was all the rage. It was great. I think you're fine with 1 day each and no park hoppers. That's a lot to do with a little kid. Even though it's great weather, it can get hot really fast. I would bake in some breaks to go back and swim unless he's doing really well and wants to keep going. If you have the Genie+ add on, you're way ahead of the game there since it's a locals park and they don't need to pay extra for that service. This lady can help you go from ride to ride using it. Buy the one off Lightning Lanes for Radiator Racers and Rise of the Resistance. It is worth the extra money as both rides go down constantly and if that happens when your time is happening, you get an automatic return option. https://disneylanddaily.com/a-first-timers-guide-to-disneyland/ https://disneylanddaily.com/how-to-start-your-day-at-disneyland/#The_Disneyland_Strategy_for_Little_Kids_with_Lightning_Lane_Multi_Pass https://disneylanddaily.com/how-to-start-your-day-at-california-adventure/ I would recommend trying to get a reservation at Trader Sam's for you and the wife. It's a cool spot to grab a drink and your kid will enjoy the interior because it's like the Tiki room. It's at the Disneyland Hotel which you'll be right next to. Maybe do it the night you check in. I believe you also will have a separate entrance to California Adventure from your hotel. I could be wrong on that. You'll also get early entry for certain parks on certain days. It's only 30 minutes so it's up to you if that can work. A lot of people I talk with about DL push back on this when I say it but the single best thing you can do at Disneyland is get there early. You can get so much in before the locals show up if you get there before it opens. A lot of rides are walk ons until about 10-11am. After 11, it can be pretty crowded.
  13. You really want to thrill me. Change it to Cinemax and offer the softcore stuff again.
  14. I don't normally buy them any longer but I hope Pablo Hidalgo makes an Andor sourcebook. I would buy that in an instant.
  15. Liverpool finished 2nd in 2021-2022 with 92 points. Also 2nd in 2018-2019 with 97 points.
  16. Thanksgiving Day game is against Kansas City at 3:30 on CBS.
  17. They carry that same uselessness in Rogue One. It was pretty poetic that Partagas was listening to Nemik's manifesto that was spreading everywhere and wondering who it was while realizing it was already too late.
  18. What's great is Rogue One shows that even though Krennic is a badass, he's still a step below Tarkin and Vader. So he was the king of his little fiefdom but he still had to serve somebody.
  19. On the agenda for today. Gilroy rejoined The Watch podcast to talk about the finale. https://open.spotify.com/episode/2dk1Heftbgeb64ww3kO5Xi?si=274a2a595ad84c76
  20. I dropped my subscription but saw the Athletic has a story about Frimpong. The Athletic | Football @TheAthleticFC · 5h Dutchman keen to join, no personal terms issues £29.6m release clause & homegrown status appeal Player & Bayer Leverkusen want fast resolution Left-back is Liverpool's priority What we’re hearing on #LFC & Jeremie Frimpong - and why he’s wanted
  21. Gilroy answering some questions about the finale. https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-news/andor-finale-twists-tony-gilroy-interview-1236212162/
  22. Add to this, Gilroy is only there because Kathleen Kennedy and others thought Edwards director's cut was shit. So she hired Gilroy to clean it up and it became what it is. Then she offers him a chance to write a treatment for a K2SO/Andor buddy heist series which she agrees to let him change to what we have now. Then she and others all the way up the Disney chain just let him go with very little restrictions outside of budget, which they also leave mostly up to him to work within. All of this is why we have to appreciate this series. This is our Star Wars black swan. It will never happen again. I like Filoni but he has no interest in this. Nor does Favreau. They are good at what they do but it's not this.
