  1. Henry with an RBI double. Nice to see. But then caught fucking around in a rundown. Obstruction called on SD, she is safe at 3rd.
  2. here's a radio feed https://texas.leanplayer.com/
  3. Estelle in the circle. Henry getting some PT, which is nice. Mia in the infield is a choice. At least it's San Diego.
  4. We have the talent. I feel really good about our pitchers. The lineup will work itself out as the season goes on. Fielding will probably always be an adventure.
  5. Whitaker in to pinch. Better than Martinez, but I don’t have a fuzzy.
  6. In the playoffs , I agree. But early in the season we just wanna see what we got. So I get it.
  7. The camera work here is just one step above dad running gamechanger with his go pro.
  8. Martinez not seeing the ball well today. She’s like 0 for 8. Her approach is a mess.
  9. Kavan with 4 Ks so far. Yes. She’s week to week. She did not look good in the inter squad imo.
  10. There’s our normal fielding bullshit. Kavan locating well imo.
  11. Yeah, I see my misunderstanding now. I assumed they excluded you if you were seropositive. But it looks like they only excluded you if you had a confirmed covid infection (I'm assuming a positive PCR test). The numbers from the FDA don't tie out to the published study, which confused me, but I see now in the NEJM study they do list the results by serology status (i.e., antibody positive or negative). There is a significant effect for antibody positive patients, but it is small, which is probably why the EPIC-SR was a no results study. There are two other RCTs I know of on Paxlovid that are null results beyond EPIC-SR.
  12. EPIC-HR enrolled "high risk" (hence HR) patients from July - December 2021. If you had a previous covid infection or a vaccine, you were excluded**. The drug worked and the study was published in the NEJM. I'm not sure this result generalizes to 2024. A second trial, EPIC-SR (standard risk) enrolled people who had a vaccine. In preliminary results dribbled out by Pfizer, it was a no results study - there was no significant effect. The full study has not been published anywhere that I can tell. **The numbers regarding antibody positive quoted in the FDA release, which came from Pfizer, appear nowhere in the NEJM article, nor the online appendix (that I can tell). I'm not even sure how they would be collected since the trial specifically excluded folks with prior infection or vaccine uptake.
  13. Player AB Highlights Dayton 3-5 3 RBI Atwood 3-3 3 RBI Mitchell 2-2 2B, Hunter 1-1 2B, 2 RBI Stewart 1-2 2B, 2 RBI Quiroga 1-1 2B, 2 RBI A.Washington 1-2 HR, 1 RBI Cimusz 1-2 1 RBI I think san diego might be bad at softball.
  14. 19 runs on 15 hits. Mac with a no-no headed into the last inning.
  15. Jordy Bahl left the opener yesterday with a knee/ankle injury.
