Are you planning that?
I have two trips involving Portugal coming up. From just before New Year, traveling to Paris and then to Porto. The point of the trip is a meeting in Porto, so arriving there the first full week of January. Now I'm trying to figure out if I can go from Porto to Santiago de Compostela, and then Bilbao, before catching a return flight. I booked a mileage deal so only half of is planned right now -- all flights and Paris and Porto hotel/airbnb stays booked.
My goal is a lower-cost, off-season itinerary. If I can't make all that work, I may stay in Porto longer, or add in Lisbon, and just do some day trips. Drop off fees to take a rental car from Portugal to Spain one way are ridiculous right now. Plus dealing with connections through Madrid or LHR at the end of the journey just to get a flight back home seems than ideal.
Have a bigger, splashier trip to Portugal in April all planned, flights booked, rez made. We're making a large loop around the country over a 3 week period. It's been a bit of a bear to plan.
