  1. 41 to 13, Texas wins 280 passing
  2. We shall put this on the wall along with some of the other stupidest things a person has ever written.
  3. Sure, I'll take the label as long as you recognize "conservative" no longer has any relation to the original meaning and now equates to something like "ignorant fascist twat."
  4. My understanding, NCM batteries vs. LFP batteries If NCM batteries are punctured they turn into a fireball because of thermal runaway. LFP batteries when punctured let off some smoke but are generally considered safe.
  5. It's amazing how many people think it could never happen to them. And they claim to be religious yet don't give a fuck about anyone else, just like their angry god intended.
  6. 2 more useless idiots for the ignore list. Sad.
  7. I have no idea what you intended to type in your second sentence. But let's say, for example, your teenage daughter gets raped and impregnated. It's likely to soon be the case that abortions will be against the law in every state. Are you ready for a state and nation that's ready to monitor your daughter's uterus and keep track of any trips across state lines, or what she may receive in the mail, or trips across the border? Or, less shockingly, what if she suffers an ectopic pregnancy and her life is endangered because the zygot can't be aborted. That's somehow not threatening enough to a dad of 2 girls? As for your apparent, laughably ignorant, belief that they didn't try to get the VP away from the Senate so that the counting of electoral votes would be thrown into chaos in 2020, giving them a hope to overturn an election is "conspriacy theatrics," you should get a fuckin' clue. It's well-documented history. And you're even more foolish if you don't think they were planning to try to use a compliant supreme court if they hadn't won this time. Notice how all the incessant whining of "there's so much cheating going on in the election" suddenly stopped after election day?
  8. Did you read anything about their Project 2025? But start with the right to free and fair elections, and your wife and daughters rights to potentially life-saving healthcare.
  9. Your civil liberties are absolutely threatened by what's coming. Not engaging isn't an excuse for not understanding, nor is it absolving.
  10. Well asshole I didn't say anything about who you voted for. My question was in response to what you wrote: "My civil liberties aren't being threatened."
  11. No wife? No kids? Not an activist about any issues unpopular to a fascist president or his minions? Don't work for a business in competition with him or that of his minions? Glad to give up what should be your right to healthcare? Happy to have hollywood produce only shows and movies that don't offend dear leader? Sure, who gives a fuck.
  12. We were discussing that this morning and then taking a train from Santiago de Compostela to Bilbao. But we decided to change the itinerary because any of the flights back home I could snag required 2 stops and an overnight layover in either Madrid or London. I probably lucked out and found a nonstop from Porto to BCN, and a one-stop with a short layover from BCN back to Denver. So now we're going from Paris to Porto to BCN, and we'll do a day trip from Porto into Galicia. Neither of us have been to Barcelona either and it didn't cost any more miles so I'm counting this as a win, although I'm disappointed that we won't get into Basque.
  13. This was his statement to which you quoted my response: "DC is still MOSTLY made up of lobbyists, that needs to change." Looking at its most basic meaning, it's absolutely fucking asinine. DC isn't in fact "mostly lobbyists." It's a city with more residents than the state of Wyoming but with zero electoral votes. Are there many lobbyists who work there? Sure. Do they form even a majority of its people? No. I'd wager most of the registered lobbyists don't even live within the DC limits. On a larger scope, there's the implication that we need to get rid of lobbyists. The purpose of lobbying is to petition government. It's based on the constitutional rights to free speech and petition the government. You're not going to get rid of lobbyists. More people and organizations than "lobbyists" petition government. Elon Musk, for example, isn't a lobbyist. Neither is the National Organization for Women. Elonia wasn't acting as a lobbyist when he and his apartheidist fiends spent almost a Billion dollars to elect a convicted fraudster, an adjudged rapist and a fascist who already tried once to overthrow the US government. Lobbying isn't the issue. Our country's biggest issues are at the core of the basic definition of Democracy. The republican controlled Supreme Court in a series of decisions over several years has absolutely decimated any realistic possibility of getting HUGE money out of politics. People and businesses have almost zero limits on spending in elections. It would take a huge leap and almost essentially require the annihilation of cunts like Elonia, his billionaire friends, and a good portion of the republican members of the US Senate and House. Drumpf's friends are the types who buy legislators, and who get 3/4-regarded fucks like Tommy Tuberville elected because he'll always vote their way. Notice I am purposely leaving out Bill Gates and the scary Jewish guys your man named, who are not at all in the same fight for direct influence and dominance. Equating those people is not only wrong it's incredibly ignorant.

  15. "looking at the other traits you can pretty much put any career member of Congress or politician in there and all would qualify for all four remaining traits." You're like an idiot machine that keeps on repeating versions of the stupid talking points its heard over the years.
  16. What in the actual fuck is wrong with you?
  17. ha, I confused the two names. The way I keep 'em straght is to remember which one Nixon ordered to be firebombed. But I have a throbbing fucking headache right now. Would love to see a link to a study that put any of the people named in the same category as Elonia. But there isn't one so while you're right, that dude's point is even dumber. Also there's never been anything like 7 or 8 billionaires spending a billion dollars attacking a candidate for the presidency of the US. Equating what Elonia and his gang of apartheidists with any of the names listed is dumber than fuck.
  18. The cuck truck's battery sure does suck 3 burned alive in a cybertruck after it popped a curb and got wedged between a wall and a tree. https://sfist.com/2024/11/27/three-dead-one-injured-in-early-morning-cybertruck-fire-in-piedmont/
  19. Stopped reading right there. You realize that's the sham organization that drafted the nazi's 2025 plan, I presume. Nothing they produce has any credibility.
  20. Not a car person but CA is the largest market in the US for EVs. That's an ingenious move by Newsome. sadDER I'll bet telling larger advertisers that ackshually, you own their twitter account will go over well. More concealing info over on twitter. Things not going well for Elonia. she followed me
  21. bluesky embeds here?
  22. We were looking for a better way to freeze soups and chili type things and found the souper cube. Made of silicone and comes with a cover. Allows you to squeeze out the frozen stuff right into a pot on the cooktop. Holiday gift idea for the one who loves to cook or just loves organization.
  23. Are you planning that? I have two trips involving Portugal coming up. From just before New Year, traveling to Paris and then to Porto. The point of the trip is a meeting in Porto, so arriving there the first full week of January. Now I'm trying to figure out if I can go from Porto to Santiago de Compostela, and then Bilbao, before catching a return flight. I booked a mileage deal so only half of is planned right now -- all flights and Paris and Porto hotel/airbnb stays booked. My goal is a lower-cost, off-season itinerary. If I can't make all that work, I may stay in Porto longer, or add in Lisbon, and just do some day trips. Drop off fees to take a rental car from Portugal to Spain one way are ridiculous right now. Plus dealing with connections through Madrid or LHR at the end of the journey just to get a flight back home seems than ideal. Have a bigger, splashier trip to Portugal in April all planned, flights booked, rez made. We're making a large loop around the country over a 3 week period. It's been a bit of a bear to plan. A. Arrival in Lisbon and transfer, directly to the Algarve - Vila Vita B. Transfer to the Alentejo Region - São Lourenço do Barrocal C. Transfer to The Vagar with stops through historical villages: (Monsanto; Idanha a Nova; Sortelha) D. Transfer to the Douro Valley - Six Senses Spa Hotel (stops in Marialva, Castelo Rodrigo along the way) E. Transfer to Porto, Maison Albar F. transfer to Lisbon - Ludovice Palace relevant article 10 Must-Visit Historic Villages in Portugal
