  1. Oof - definitely not going high when they go low! -- this is real but a separate organization.
  2. I noticed an opinion piece about Harris's warm speaking style the other day in the LA Times and after watching the clip you posted, and noting the change in how Harris speaks, I went back and read it. The author studied speaking styles that show warmth versus those that show dominance and wrote about it in the context of Kamala Harris and Black women, in general. It's worth a read. The author is a Black woman scholar.
  3. here's a long thread of Marisa Kabas live posting the interview, no account required (I think) https://bsky.app/profile/marisakabas.bsky.social/post/3kylxw643p22g
  4. "Childless women are selfish and evil" somehow doesn't jibe with "the dems are persecuting Catholics and here's some Catholic Nuns to tell you all about it" -- what a weird strategy.
  5. I'm thinking you meant to direct that to the guy I was responding to but yeah...the difference between the two is "invented the internet" was to win an election by making an opponent sound extreme when you have nothing to offer the US, and the "coffee too hot" bs was to destroy the rights of private citizens to receive adequate compensation when they've been physically harmed and to discourage similar future behavior e.g. see the dipshit governor of Texas.
  6. This is also exhausting. Did Al Gore Say 'I Invented the Internet'? | Snopes.com I realize this may be difficult to realize but republicans have been making shit up, and the media has willingly broadcast their bullshit since at least the early 1990s and the days of Newt Gingrich.
  7. In case you didn't read the article, the arrest was in December. Apparently, he just pled guilty and received a sentence for 18 months of probation.
  8. This photo is from 2011 when she was CA AG I don't think it's too much of a stretch to think they also showed her the tunnels, and from there it's an easy leap to conclude that fences/walls aren't failsafe. If you're pissing your pants because you think she may have made up a trip to the border, I'm thinking you're better off posting on 4chan or somewhere.
  9. I didn't discuss trends and was careful not to do so. That's bullshit and should be ignored.
  10. Nate Silver's a complete fucking idiot and should be ignored and shunned. He got lucky one time on a prediction and doesn't even own 538 anymore because he was too stupid to read a contract - yet he keeps 538 in his twitter handle. Polls within +/- 3 are basically 50/50 on election day. Polls taken more than 30 days before election day are unreliable as to election results.
  11. Didn't realize JD Vance has his own line of sofas at Ashley Furniture.
  12. Going by the statistically established estimate that for every 1 like of a post, 100 others agree with that post but don't "like" it, 1700 txumags had spoken out in favor of being able to post dick pics on their football board at the time of this screenshot.
  13. "Looks like it cost a million bucks." I can't imagine someone thinking that.
  14. The answer is Megan Thee Stallion. The question is, is it astonishingly weird that an adult, gay or not, doesn't understand why a pussy gets wet?
  15. OOPS A LITTLE BAD TIMING!! Kevin Roberts of Heritage has a new book coming out. JDV wrote the foreword. https://newrepublic.com/article/184393/jd-vance-violent-foreword-kevin-roberts-project-2025-leader-book
  16. It was a 21 minute video with some interesting detail. They discuss how difficult it is to get all the data from an individual vehicle. Tesla tells you that you can download your own data, but they don't provide all of it, such as what FSD was doing at any particular time - Tesla withholds that info. All of the data, however, is transmitted back to Tesla but for the normie/owner to access it, they'd have to take apart the dashboard to access the computer and then hack it. WSJ found a guy who likes to work on wrecked Teslas. He pulls the computers and then sends them to someone who hacks it. Even though they only have 6 cameras, there's a good chance they're not synchronized, so what one camera sees can be totally different from what another one sees. The example an ex-Tesla employee gives is that an un-synched camera can make something look like it's floating in the air. This is a 3.5 minute portion of the full WSJ clip that discusses how the reporters accessed the secret data. It has an injected ad or two that you can skip after 5 seconds. https://www.msn.com/en-us/money/news/how-hackers-and-mechanics-unearth-tesla-s-hidden-autopilot-data/vi-BB1qRxcX
  17. SIAP - you've gotta have the sound on to hear the glass crack just as he's talking about how tough the truck is https://www.yahoo.com/tech/tesla-fan-climbs-cybertruck-show-142724938.html
  18. better quality video, a bit longer, and in english
  19. today at wsj someone copied the video over to YT because it's subscriber only. It'll probably disappear soon.
  20. This makes a good point They can only turn to help from weirdos like Graham, Vivek, Desantis, Ron Johnson, Bannon, Kirk, the demented Kennedy from Louisiana because they've all become the same fuckin imbecile, made in the image that Trump wants.
