DVRing your parents 50th probably won’t win your any brownie points with them but you will probably get a lot of reputation from the board. Good job.

Oh yeah, if you go check out the artwork, a lot of them are from out of state. It's a great event, last year when we talked to a few of the artists they were all really big fans of coming to FW for Main Street. Some really cool stuff out there too even if a lot of it is very spendy.
The artist love it because it is one of the few venues that doesn’t charge them to have a tent. If you place high enough in a category, you get a free space.
I wish they would put a cap on the number of consequetive years an artist can go. Seems like some of the artists have been there for ten years.
Still love the event though. I go every year.

Keith Law now has Murray listed as the 36th best prospect for the MLB draft (quoted in the article).

Driving downtown:
GF: "Why are all these cars driving the wrong way on this street?"
Me: White knuckled and scared shitless, "They aren't. You are."
Luckily we only had to go a short block to turn.

I don’t know how to insert this, but Leal tweeted: Big Day tomorrow 👀🎒
Yeah, losing him and potentially Wilson in a span of a few weeks will hurt but there is plenty of time to find replacements.

Never been to the Varsity but this article makes it seem a bit racist.
Too old to know why anyone would ban Jordan sneakers.

Based off this thread, I’m glad I wasn’t able to watch. Would have been bad for my blood pressure.

Anyone have a recommendation for golf lessons here in town?
I've used Amy Fox in the past. She is expensive but really good. She coaches several college golfers that were trying to go pro.
She is at Tierre Verde in Arlington.

if the argument is that it hasn’t happened recently, then that is probably correct. But it has happened in the past.
On a side note, Ricky (not Baker) was the first walk on to win the Heisman.Wouldn't that technically make RW the only non-scholarship Heisman winner? Pretty sure blowU was paying Fakers tuition last year. (and bail)
The Heisman was promoting Baker as the only former walkon to win. They weren't referring to the current year.

Yup. Jimbo has a knack for finding those hidden 5 stars. It’s a gift.

Didn't Ricky have a contract?

Unless something has changed recently, he can do both. If he is drafted in the MLB, he can still play QB but just not on scholarship. He'd have to be a walkon and pay his way.

Faye Reagan. If you don't know who she is, do NOT google her at work.

One thing I feel confident in is that even if Green commits to the ags, Texas will not stop recruiting him. This staff seems relentless.

Saw it tonight. Slightly above average. Thought the last scene with the phone call was a good way to end it.

This x1000. ND are as delusional as the worst in football. They feel like they are entitled to any recruit they want.
