  1. That's what this thread needed, a goddamn Blue Bell iced pisscream derailment.
  2. Having reliable kickers on the roster seems like something a good GM would make a priority.
  3. Every time this comes up, my brain still can't believe it actually happened. It took watching him play about one and a half quarters of college football for me to be absolutely 100% convinced that Arnold was incapable of ever being a serviceable QB. Gabriel already being a proven and reliable, occasionally dynamic QB pushes the story into the realm of absurdist fan-fictional parody fever dream territory.
  4. How the actual fuck can any of you exist in a world that doesn't have that flap gummed fuckpost on ignore?
  5. You know they have a point there... Sark was totally out coached, got all the calls, and all the bounces, and they were two plays away from winning the game by multiple scores. They don't need to change a single thing with their program except have all that stuff for their way instead.
  6. I thought it was pretty good, the actress playing the young Emily Watson character is nails so far. But goddamn, 60+ minute episodes make me feel like the sleepy old man that I am. I really don't enjoy that trend with the big budget series. I'm yelling at clouds, but I really prefer the 50ish minute format. Sure, the density of the story may necessitate it at times, but it feels like they are doing it just because they can.
  7. The girls piling on Gary, love to see it. Gary with the familiar confessional about how he can't just have one drink, he becomes someone else when he drinks and he just keeps doing it despite all the negative consequences. Then says he just needs to "learn how to control it". Yeah man, you're almost there, just keep trying. Danni seems genuinely damaged. Glenn going to hang out in some caves by himself with the crew staying behind to clean the boat was a classic dad move.
  8. I wasn't impressed with Texas at all. The problem was our offense was totally outmatched in this game.
  9. This QB makes Jackson Arnold look like Chad Pennington.
  10. Doesn't look like they had a forward pass in that drive either. Interdasting.
  11. Oh, I forget there is a tiny amount of alcohol in those things. I've had some NA IPAs lately and I realized that I don't really like the beer taste that much, I only liked it because it got my brain all happy. The hops and the bubbles are the part I actually enjoy.
  12. Well this is a good time to see what they are like! IPAs started with a lot of hops added to the wort while it brewed, which makes the beer extra bitter. Then they started adding more hops at the end, after the wort cools off, or "dry hopping" which adds the floral, herbal, fruity, piney etc aroma and flavor of the hops with no bitterness. That's what you taste in the hop water, the flavor of the hops they use but no bitterness and no malty beer flavor. Sierra Nevada has one called Citrus Splash that has more of a west Coast IPA hop flavor which is like piney grapefruits. I love it and have zero temptation to want a real IPA which used to be a passion/hobby of mine.
  13. I'm an alcoholic but not an AA person, so I don't identify completely with those that have to avoid beer this vigilantly. So definitely don't let this sway you if you are overly hesitant. In my opinion, it's just not really enough like beer to take someone down the path of wanting to escalate to an alcoholic beverage. If you enjoy a la Croix, you will probably like this. It's just a more interesting, more "special" sparkling beverage to drink during a game or something. It's pretty delightful.
  14. No grain. Just sparkling water infused with hops. Very floral and citrusy, no calories or carbs. It's amazing. Lagunitas Hop Refresher is my go-to. Doesn't feel or taste like beer, but if you liked IPAs, it definitely scratches an itch.
  15. The unplugged controller metaphor is michelin star chef's kiss.
  16. We're more effective in the attack, but the difference in the midfield is shocking. This team finally looks multidimensional in possession and Jamaica is absolutely outclassed in the middle third.
  17. HEB actually has boneless turkey breasts that have already been pre-brined to some extent and are fantastic smoked. Requires pretty much no prep.
  18. Pulisic already dicing this backline up, damn.
  19. Haha holy shit, just have your punter sling it it out on a 15 yard out right into coverage. Masterful.
  20. I'm making the assumption myself that Selzer is more correct than these other dorks, but there is such a simple explanation for the misses if this ends in a blowout win for Harris. How long have we been watching this unfold and asking "How is this thing even close?" The pollsters adjusting and adding weight to the data in their models in order to "find" the hidden Trump voters that were missed in 2020 and 2016 are completely missing something that the electorate itself is observing in real time that is actually nullifying the hidden Trump vote. 1. Dobbs, obviously and most importantly 2. Trump in 2024 is the oldest, most unfit and unstable candidate of any if our lifetimes 3. Or 2b. The most hideous, tone-deaf, messy, insulting, hateful and clumsy campaign of my lifetime. This is not spiking the ball, it will still likely be very close in PA, NC, GA, AZ. But it's not hard to understand how all the stat geniuses could shit down their own legs in unison.
  21. They couldn't get the ai image generator to make him stand up straight instead of that centaur pose?
