  1. That would be nice. I heard that Dak might crack due to being sacked from the back by some hacks in slacks.
  2. I have scheduled someone to come take a look. These digital control panels tend to be expensive as fuck to replace. If it's the control board, it could be a lot less, but the panels can cost like 400 bucks to order the part from what I remember.
  3. Whirlpool top load washer just shat the bed after less than 3 years. Will not power on at all after checking breakers and plugging it into other power sources. Assuming it is most likely the control panel or control board, I never get lucky with just a blown fuse or something. I looked into Speed Queen last time around, but the wife had never heard of it and wanted to buy through Costco, so we went that route. We didn't opt for the extended warranty, which seems pretty dumb in retrospect. It seems like appliances are just garbage top-to-bottom these days. I am tempted to try and buy an old used one that has actual buttons and was built 20 years ago. Any updates on Speed Queens or other brands that have been solid? I thought Whirlpool was one of the better ones, but quality issues probably hit all of them since covid.
  4. I never saw the film. Should I watch that first?
  5. Yeah, I like Costco too. I think it's because I have more "gatherer" than "hunter" in my genetic ancestry or something. But, I will say that I pretty much hate going to the Costco near my in-laws in Dallas. It's a huge pain in the ass. The new Costco in Kyle is a fucking breeze compared to the South Austin one, which in turn is a joyous experience compared to the aforementioned north Dallas location. I go to Sam's once or twice a year. They have some good stuff, but much like Walmart, I walk in and immediately want to walk out. I didn't know about the online pickup option though, that could be cool.
  6. I finally got this a few weeks back when the wife took the kids out of town. So far, it's really fun and interesting to play around in a familiar but different world. I am just fucking around looking for shrines to get hearts and stamina after dying a lot fighting the bigger monsters. I hate not having any stamina to fly around. I have yet to start on the 4 corners of interest, which I assume is like the 4 dungeons in BoTW. The weapon system is overwhelming as fuck, I don't really know what I'm doing, I just fuse shit with rocks hoping it will last longer? I don't really like the idea of fusing weapons to every item I have just to see what they do, that seems tedious. Should I just fuse random crap for a while, or does the game eventually help make sense of how to choose what to fuse weapons with? Same with building. I can sit there and waste 30 minutes trying to build a wagon but it doesn't really help me do anything, I think I can get a horse to pull it, but how would that even help me? Should I be spending time trying to build crazy shit, or is the game going to give me things I need to build and lead me to that conclusion logically? Those are some dumbass questions, sorry, I just don't really want to spend a lot of time experimenting with building and fusing unless there is a big payoff.
  7. Very fortunate to come away with a point in that one-sided shit show. I was wondering in the off-season how we were going to generate chances when they cut Lima loose. That guy's crosses created a lot of our goals last year. Last night, we had maybe 1 or 2 crosses that went into or near a dangerous area. Zan and Rigatoni have been hapless on the left, and Gallagher hasn't done anything on the right side. We have 9s who have terrible touch and can't play hold up for shit. I don't know what's up with Pereira (or Wolff), but our midfield fucking sucks balls. Ring and Valencia are not the answer, they should both be subs, not starters in this system. Wolff seems to be a catalyst at times for some of our better attacking sequences, but his attitude is trash. He looks like a petulant child when things don't go his way. I don't think Wolff is the whole problem, but I also don't think he can get this team back on track. The team looks like they are done playing for him.
  8. Strong Songs just started a new season with a fantastic episode on "In Your Eyes". I have been listening for about 2 years now, and he has gotten pretty good. He's very much like a music or science teacher, a bit goofy to cheesy at times, but he hits on the stuff that really interests me about songwriting and production. I could not get into stuff like Song Exploder where get into the personal stories that might interest the average listener more but didn't really scratch an itch for me.
  9. That's a great looking cast, tons of personality/drama and a lot of blasts from the past. I had to look up Kefla Hare, apparently he was on season 2 of RR v RW. Also, lmao at Jay, I hope TJ makes him drink something disgusting in the first daily, so we can watch him melt down and quit. Good god, Avery with dark hair...
  10. 27 minutes in, I believe Minnesota should have 3 goals at this point. We have no buildup and no counter. No Seba or Cascante though. Can't imagine it would matter that much, we are going to be hot trash until (hopefully) the new guys can come on.
  11. The new Austin FC away kit is great, but sure, do the "I hate the new thing" bit until the next new thing.
  12. Nurys, Horacio and Emmanuel are the only ones that should be invited back for the next OG season. So of course we'll get Jay, Michelle, Big T and Melissa, and Corey for the next one. Oh and that blowup doll Moriah.
  13. I'm going to be laughing about Jay's bitch ass losing to Corey in fucking block stacking for a long time. That almost redeemed the whole season for me. But then I had to watch these nobodies stumble around for another hour reminding us all that this is the worst season anybody can remember.
  14. I'll have you know that my managers were all extremely shitty, and I'm aghast at the accusation they they were merely "bad".
  15. I worked at the Wendy's on Lake Creek pkwy around '96, and the chili was often made with overcooked and dried out burgers.
  16. I watched the first one. The wife wasn't into it, but I laughed quite a bit. The running gag of how to refer to homeless person was well done. The characters are all pretty funny, and I expect them to evolve a lot.
  17. Fuck, that dude is a Reggie Bush starter kit.
  18. Came here to post this. I really enjoyed this for how ridiculous and goofy it was.
  19. Holy shit, this is amazing. I'm not even mad, it's fucking hilarious.
  20. Dallas looks incredible at times but only against shitty teams. They struggle with teams that have a pulse and get dominated by teams that are actually good.
  21. Maybe instead of a touchback, it's a turnover at the spot of the fumble. Would be a little better but I agree that fumbling out of the opponent's end zone shouldn't go back to the offense.
  22. Need to get one of Elko's face on the Pop Tarts Bowl pop tart mascot.
