    Season ending losses for aggy

    WVU - 2019

    Texas - 2018

    TCU - 2017, 2016, 2015

    Texas - 2014

    TCU - 2012

I feel dirty for liking this before the game went final.

so, to reverse the bad mojo, I'm gonna go ahead and say I don't feel good about Tech vs DBU tonight.

    Well done HBO. Well done.

Hard to believe the same network signed off on both show's endings. I agree that this was darn near perfect and exactly the sort of goodbye we had wished for Thrones.

    Was someone saying you didn't?

I'm guessing that he was highlighting that series as being the turning point of the season.

Tech very well may have played their way into a national seed.

  4. I've only watched the series one time through during it's original release dates. Out of curiosity I began watching season 1 again this week as a refresher and to compare then and now.

    Absolutely it's better.

But I wonder if that's because it was our introduction to ALL the characters. Time needed to be taken, and they took plenty of it, in laying the groundwork for the story to come - and dang if it's nearly not all right there in episode 1 - but you all already know that.

What really struck me tho since it's so prominent in these threads regarding the current episodes is the amount of dumbassness that took place then as well. It was fresh material so we accepted it - the Golden Crown scene from ep 5 being just one example.

  5. My take on the lack of "major deaths" taking place.

There was a point where you thought to yourself - and don't say that didn't because we know you did. All of you thought this...

"Well, I guess this is the one that gets it" and then a few seconds later, "oh snap, they aren't gonna make it either"

ALL of them were dead. They had no way out.

    And then Arya saved them.

Just watched S06E05 The Door. I’ve never cared much for Bran and this episode highlights that. His naïveté and carelessness with his warg abilities directly results in the death of Hodor, Summer, Leaf and the other Children of the Forest, and the Three Eyed Raven. Not to mention, he will eventually allow the Night King to cross The Wall.

I know Bran will be important down the stretch and I know his flashbacks are key to understanding Jon’s history, but he’s tough to root for. Just an awkward teenager roaming around doing weird shit, separate from basically every other main character, and inadvertently causing destruction in the process.

That's literally exactly what I said except you are wrong about the bolded part. If KU wins out they are the outright champion.

"All three" is what was stated and is exactly what I questioned.

Playing for a tie is one thing, but the team with a shot at an outright title truly controls their destiny.

    edit:

I think you are wrong about KU's "outright" chances - unless you don't understand what "control your own destiny" means
