The opening title sequence doesn't match up either. If the gate is opposite the Red Keep, then there is indeed land on that end.
I only post this to say that the continuity issues didn't just begin this season.

Was someone saying you didn't?
I'm guessing that he was highlighting that series as being the turning point of the season.
Tech very well may have played their way into a national seed.

You mean in ep 6 where Vaserys gets his dome crowned?LOL - yes, ep 6 titled "Golden Crown"
see, the the dumbassness is contagious.

I've only watched the series one time through during it's original release dates. Out of curiosity I began watching season 1 again this week as a refresher and to compare then and now.
Absolutely it's better.
But I wonder if that's because it was our introduction to ALL the characters. Time needed to be taken, and they took plenty of it, in laying the groundwork for the story to come - and dang if it's nearly not all right there in episode 1 - but you all already know that.
What really struck me tho since it's so prominent in these threads regarding the current episodes is the amount of dumbassness that took place then as well. It was fresh material so we accepted it - the Golden Crown scene from ep 5 being just one example.

If the lopsided victory was so surprising to everyone, why did Tyrion spend two episodes begging Dany not to do it?
He was absolutely convinced that she, and she alone, was the only thing that could prevent the burning/destruction of King's Landing.

My take on the lack of "major deaths" taking place.
There was a point where you thought to yourself - and don't say that didn't because we know you did. All of you thought this...
"Well, I guess this is the one that gets it" and then a few seconds later, "oh snap, they aren't gonna make it either"
ALL of them were dead. They had no way out.
And then Arya saved them.

Virginia has the Leperchans in their back pocket that's for sure - ball has bounced their way the entire tourney

Just watched S06E05 The Door. I’ve never cared much for Bran and this episode highlights that. His naïveté and carelessness with his warg abilities directly results in the death of Hodor, Summer, Leaf and the other Children of the Forest, and the Three Eyed Raven. Not to mention, he will eventually allow the Night King to cross The Wall.
I know Bran will be important down the stretch and I know his flashbacks are key to understanding Jon’s history, but he’s tough to root for. Just an awkward teenager roaming around doing weird shit, separate from basically every other main character, and inadvertently causing destruction in the process. This x 1000

Oregon 2nd half is just bizarre.
1st 10:00 they couldn't buy a basket, 2nd 10:00 they couldn't miss
never seen momentum shift that hard and fast before

I didn't want to quote the pic because I didn't want it on this page but that billboard is definitely aggy level lame.

not sure what the hell the announcer is watching

Cyclones can't ever seem to score on back-to-back possessions.
Buckeyes are doing it just enough to maintain the lead.

Thanks!

Apologies in advance for asking something that was probably discussed upthread somewhere, but what was the process used that made KSU the 1 seed and Tech the 2 seed? Was it Tech's home loss to ISU?

All 3 OOC games is stupid. But I really don't see a downside to playing 1 PAC game each year conference wide.

That's literally exactly what I said except you are wrong about the bolded part. If KU wins out they are the outright champion.
"All three" is what was stated and is exactly what I questioned.
Playing for a tie is one thing, but the team with a shot at an outright title truly controls their destiny.
edit:
I think you are wrong about KU's "outright" chances - unless you don't understand what "control your own destiny" means
-
If Tech wins out, someone else still has to beat the Cats for there to be a tie.
If KU wins out, best they can hope for is a tie, unless someone else beats the Cats.
If Cats win out, they are Champs.

I'm not seeing how all 3 control their own destiny.

Cats are still in the driver's seat are they not? They can even survive another loss - no one else can.

You can’t argue with his results.
But holy fuck how are his receivers always open? It doesn’t matter what scraggly white guy they toss in there, come 3rd and 10, he’s going to be open, and Brady will find him.

What a horrific read. But one that should be required reading.

Thanks for the link. I've since been binge watching his previous efforts - Absolutely hilarious! without fail some of the best 'reviews' out there. 😜
