  1. Heide needs to make a positive impact.
  2. Tramon "Off The" Mark so far this year
  3. I don't care what the D or margin is, over the years opponents seem to have hit quite a few last-second bombs on us. Hopefully not fatal tonight.
  4. Our really big, strong man needs to play really big and strong.
  5. We'll be fresh for Corn then. 😃
  6. Have a better alternative in the Final Four? Not saying there isn't one, but for now I'm assuming both these teams will make it there.
  7. I'm thinking UCLA will handle Duke easily enough. That second game never really seemed to be in doubt. If Betts plays as expected, she should score and rebound at will.
  8. Yeah, enough already. I'm way more interested in a Texas-Kentucky volleyball rematch.
  9. Kara Lawson is an age progression of Aaliyah Chavez.
  10. The law of averages suggests we all be skeptical of any player who's not rated at the very top for his position. Even with them we know how often something goes way wrong. Just hope a couple of every half-dozen "fillers" in a class eventually contribute. If a guy has the size and tools, is affordable and of course is also seen as a culture fit, I don't know why we wouldn't roll the dice on him. Especially in the age of NIL. Nobody's signing 28 obvious draft picks.
  11. For whatever reason, the question of whether we can count on Booker to score late in games lingers. She's often a far better offensive player before halftime than after. Same shots taken, and not always against tighter D, but different results. I don't know if it's fatigue or more mental (likely the former), but if I see it, I'm sure opponents also do. Fortunately, Rori saved us today.
  12. Sadly, I'm on Eastern Time. So for me, most of the men's game against ASU occurred on Tuesday morning.
  13. Not sure any team at any level, of either gender, denies inbounds better than we do. A great trademark of Vic's D.
  14. Harmon has been amazing all day.
  15. Pretty tough call either way, but I'll take it.
  16. Monday night was glorious.
  17. Better knuckle down and start scoring. Miserably bad right now.
  18. Booker cold as ice. In a bad way
  19. Booker has to deal here. And maybe let's guard Kneepkens.
  20. This is when you'd love to have our missing troops to maintain steady ball pressure.
  21. Finish strong here.
  22. Dear director: Please refrain from showing that gum-flapping tub of goo UCLA calls a coach.
  23. Especially considering we have no Preston or Crump available, this has been crazy good execution without any letup on D. UCLA hasn't faced anything like this in a good while. Let Betts have her 30, but keep the perimeter in check and stay aggressive on the other end.
  24. An almost perfect half 🤘
