  1. Proof that not all "exciting" games are good ones.
  2. Here's where it helps to maybe have a real PG. And rim defenders. Bunch of guys passing up shots, and nobody cutting to the bucket. Be men.
  3. Is Kent still gimpy? He hasn't seemed to do much of anything good in games I've watched. Even so, we should win this game if we keep shooting well.
  4. I'm not going to include the many lengthy replies to this post, but you can easily imagine where it goes from here. A post about us, telling others not to post about us, of course leads to more posting about us...and then more. It's a classic case study in incestuous bickering and rent-free living.
  5. No idea how much corporate coin it took to get the "Yeti Yard" into Disch-Falk, but I'm thinking Musk might pay a lot for DKR to run its video on the "Teslatron."
  6. I'm still wondering how far a drive it is from Silsbee to confirm the pattern of hotel curtains in Horseshoe Bay.
  7. And that's spotting him two hours on the change in time zones.
  8. My ignore list just keeps on growing. Every disappointing Texas game flushes out more of the trash.
  9. I had extremely high expectations for Campbell. Second only to Banks on the OL. He's been a pretty good guard but not overwhelmingly so, to my non-coaching eye. Would love to see him come back and lead this next wave of road graders and improve his own draft stock.
  10. My only regret is that he spent just one year here. What a tremendous player.
  11. They also seem to have issues with tackling. Complementary football, amirite?
  12. Leave it to the Falcons to try to prove otherwise.
  13. Before his injury, Clark was the RB I had high hopes for. Only a 3-star, but plenty big and with a versatile skill set. It's just hard to realistically maintain those hopes unless he comes back virtually as good as new. Wish he'd torn up a knee instead of tearing an Achilles.
  14. Quickness is indeed our kryptonite, especially on the interior. When you don't have it, you tend to lose to teams who do. As poorly as we played, SC didn't blow us out with their pace. They were sloppy at times but still ran their sets, made open shots, defended ferociously and rebounded our dozens of bad misses. You just can't be weak against them. Sadly, that's what we were from the start.
  15. Not sure, but there's reason to ask. I'd sit her for a bit and see if we do any worse. I totally get why we'd want Chavez (duh), but we'd better find some interior players who bring much more to the table. Against the best teams a vertical above 6" would help.
  16. If we're elite, building a resume by blowing out dogs and then wilting against real competition is no more comforting than when our men do it. At least our women won that foulfest against OU, but we clearly have issues. I'm not crediting SC's defense with making us shoot as poorly as we have. Give Preston some run in the third.
  17. Still plenty of time to get back in this one, but so far we're giving off some strong "paper tiger" vibes.
  18. Our hosts are being charitable so far. Let's not waste it.
  19. Only comforting way to look at it. If Booker, Oldacre and Jones had hit 30%, we'd be ahead.
  20. Fair enough. Although in basketball, unfortunately it's the same result.
  21. Has a highly rated Texas team ever looked more lost? Maybe Lee can do something positive.
  22. Someone please let the ladies know the idea is to put it through the rim. Booker looks like me out there.
