  1. Won't get to OKC without a serious jolt. Way too little hitting, way too little D, way too much leaning on TK to save every day. In short, this team looks flatter than a flounder. Get it together or be left wondering what might have been.
  2. Can't lose a Vivi and not feel it in all areas. How much worse off we'd be with Brister at 2B right now I'm not sure, but that bar is a lot lower than we'd all prefer.
  3. Hurry up and heal, Vivi. For an elite team, we're pretty thin in key spots.
  4. I haven't kept with UCLA football, but how on earth do they find themselves in dire need of an inaccurate head case at QB?
  5. All three were impressive in the McD game. I can see why Davidson ascended, though. For me, her game brings to mind Fulwiley's.
  6. Asian persuasion
  7. Enjoyed seeing Bama walk off the Sooners to win that series.
  8. Highly productive for a freshman on a bad team. Doesn't look to be a burner, but I like the size. We have a guy who probably can throw him open on intermediate routes.
  9. Another big with talent. Nice. Miller is quickly building Austin's new skyline.
  10. Understandable that Dee Kennedy's no longer at Texas, but (as noted way upthread) he's made a real jump at the plate with KSU this spring. Would be nice to have that bat right now.
  11. Wouldn't call it the best-ever tape/film, but some kid from Sealy had a few highlights in crunch time.
  12. If he'd moved to the other dugout this weekend he'd have had at least one HBP.
  13. A lack of mobile bigs will be an issue until it's addressed. Yes, there are varying degrees of both "mobile" and "big." And yes, some fans will point to plays such as Oldacre's steal and layup against TCU and a few Jones runouts as evidence we had mobile bigs this season. However, the mobility we need going forward is lateral quickness and quick flat-footed jumping, both of which are especially helpful on D and offensive rebounding. The very best rosters have some of those players.
  14. Fulwiley is a true difference maker who can break down nearly any D. Not many others can.
  15. With as much as the SEC seems to go out of its way to create matchups in various sports, you'd think they'd want a second helping of last year's memorable postseason showdown with aggy. Or at least to renew the old rivalry. But no....
  16. Not to mention SC's personal income tax, which ranges up to 6.2%. If she's ever going to move, the school at the western edge of the SEC checks a whole lot of boxes.
  17. They'd better show up with way more hitting, pitching and defense than this. But I hope they don't.
  18. Okie Lite is pretty awful.
  19. Next time we sub at SS, maybe give little Dale a shot.
  20. That approach has served me pretty well. I still follow the team and want them to play well, but I take a lot of breaks compared to back when they actually were good. Houston just lost in inexcusable fashion to a rival with no offense, and I'm not even all that surprised.
  21. At this point, I'd call it a sapling.
  22. Ugh. Sorry I stayed up for that outcome here on the East Coast. But my fault for getting lured in. This offense has so little margin for error that a lot of nights figure to end up like this.
  23. Some really solid 5s in this portal wave. I especially like Okot's skills and athleticism.
