  1. Aggy losing by 6 at home after missing 20 FTs is good bull.
  2. Weaver going out clearly hasn't helped. Regardless, there's only so much positive you can expect when you're depending on Shedrick to rebound and protect the rim against bigs with a pulse. Kaluma also was mostly a spectator tonight, and we absolutely couldn't afford that.
  3. Quinn has been a fantastic representative of our school and program. His strengths might align better with how the QB position was played a generation or two ago, but so what? Texas football is fully back on the map, and it's in large part due to him. He'll be respected by our fans more as time passes, regardless of what his football future holds.
  4. I said before the season we'd lose three games. To have made it this far without our No. 1 RB, a gimpy No. 1 WR and replacing two great DTs is a testament to our team. I'm mighty proud despite the final score.
  5. If you'd told me after the Judkins TD that we'd be down 14-7 at the half, I'd have been thrilled. But not giving up a jailbreak one play after the Blue TD....
  6. Two of my three wins this year came from picking against Texas. Which I really hated to do, but I always try to be analytical instead of emotional. That said, I'm going to scattergun a fair bit with tonight's three picks: OSU 37, Texas 24 OSU 27, Texas 17 Texas 24, OSU 21 With a range like that, our total yardage is obviously a really wild guess. But I'll go with Texas gaining 385. (Note: Also posted this in the regular game prediction thread. Over there it might well have caused confusion...my bad.)

  8. Haven't forgotten to post my picks. Still trying to decide if I want to max out the chances of a Texas win by taking OSU with all three of them. 🤔
  9. When you can outrun everybody for 98...then truck a bunch of rugged dudes for a red zone score...you might be pretty decent.
  10. It's OK to admit your guys are still woozy from the way the ferocious warriors of Texas A&M worked them over four months ago. Happens to every visiting team who dares enter the guano-spattered confines of Kyle Field.
  11. Auburn's first team might get challenged more than this in practice.
  12. For the moment. We'll see how much worse by game's end. Auburn can score the rock.
  13. When it comes to NIL and overall support of football, Aggy takes a back seat to nobody. Well, except when they need an explanation for evil tu winning and can't make themselves admit it's about our coaching and/or culture.
  14. If you're merely injured en route, no biggie. Medevac is the way to beat the traffic. Have them drop you off at the stadium.
  15. Ben McCollum or bust
  16. Coffee hasn't fully kicked in yet. So my first thought was, "John Wick follows Texas football?"
  17. Thinking maybe we at least kick the tires on Anthony Evans from UGA. Converse kid who changed his mind a few times before ending up in Athens for a couple seasons. Not a ton of production there, but 10.3 speed doesn't grow on trees. https://www.si.com/college/georgia/news/anthony-evans-signs-with-georgia
  18. Do you fire Morris today, or tomorrow?
  19. That's as bad a team as we've trotted out in a good while. They do nothing very well and add to the misery by showing little potential for serious improvement under this staff. At least our women's team shows up and shows out.
