  1. When the space is too small for the school's name, just change to one that fits.
  2. Booker missing the transition pull-up after Oldacre's block, and then fouling on the rebound, was a deflating turn in OT. I'm sure Booker was gassed, but Vic had no choice but to keep her on the floor.
  3. The only time we looked good was early, when Carlton was out there. No idea why she got sentenced to the pine, but maybe we could have used a boost from another scorer and rebounder. Just saying.
  4. That was tough. Especially after the night she's had. Now shut off the lane and block out.
  5. Or just maybe...at least half our team hasn't showed up tonight.
  6. Where's Carlton? And can we give Lee a little run? Because Rori seems a net negative to this point.
  7. Here's a crazy idea: Start making shots and getting back in transition.
  8. USC and UTA are in a good one early. Too bad USC pulled it out, 26-24.
  9. With Latimer being here in the Atlanta region, he's not exactly under anyone's radar in the SEC. Easy to see why Choice is high on the guy, because he's a load. Determined and rarely goes down on first contact. Can catch the ball on leaks out of the backfield and has enough speed. A wee bit of Earl in him, in that he usually shrugs off high tackles before getting tripped up. Glad we seem to have a real shot here. https://247sports.com/player/amari-latimer-46138810/videos/
  10. Not sure which schools are chasing which guys hardest, but Kaylon Finley's junior tape looks solid. Seems to have enough speed, maneuvers well in space (including on jet sweeps), goes after red zone jump balls and will block. Seems like a guy we could use, though that's not to say Sark and Jackson see him as a priority target. https://www.hudl.com/video/3/19082378/6730e91cf464532f032cd10d
  11. Kaiser Bob thinks this is bad offense.
  12. We play hard on offense but with so little design, flow or skill that it does us no good. UCONN might beat us by 25.
  13. Looks like another exciting season of seeing how many wins Weaver can will us to while nearly everyone else watches.
  14. Does this public revelation of a better "whole person/athlete" culture at Texas help keep the Kentucky pipeline (and perhaps others) more open going forward? Seems it should, but each player's situation is of course its own. I'm just glad it's working out for Skinner and Rutherford.
  15. Before I answer, define "face."
  16. No, forget wishcasting for a moment. Let's go to the replay of what actually happened: Bless their hearts.
  17. Townsend was my biggest worry in the class, so I'm especially thrilled he's in. This guy is a monster I think could end up being better than Helm or Sanders.
  18. Couldn't drive a car fast enough? All I can think of at this time.
  19. Nimble little minx(es)
  20. Some would say this shows 6:43. But we and aggy know it's 17 to 7.
  21. How an elite high school prospect could not see himself as an early contributor on a team that plays freshmen while competing for a national title and cranking out draft picks is beyond me. But I also realize a fatter check and/or the pull of playing closer to home can trump that for some guys. Teenagers still are teenagers.
  22. Why did we need to play those teams? With the exception of South Carolina, we instead beat teams that beat all of them. And that doesn't include crushing a Michigan team that just won at Ohio State. Add it all up and we beat 8 teams that ended the regular season bowl-eligible. Maybe not as "easy" a path as aggy and many others have claimed. Not that they'd ever let reality interfere with the narrative, of course.
  23. From the looks of the box score, we have some great players not exactly playing great tonight. Poor shooting and turnovers. Or do the numbers deceive?
