  1. The weirder thing is googling 30 links to awards Tim Tebow won. Imagine being that into a dude that was a virgin until he was like 25
  2. I finally listened to the new Isbell record. I find it to be incredibly boring. It’s not bad. It’s just boring.
  3. He just knows his audience better than anyone else, and tells them what they want to hear.
  4. nttawrt! get your freak on! Eiffel Tower that groomsman with Jay!
  5. You were in a groomsman? With another dude named Jay? At the same time?
  6. On a related note, this is probably the latest spring bloom that I can remember. I usually see the first bluebonnets popping up the last week of February, but almost always within the first week of March. I've seen no bluebonnets, indian paintbrushes or mexican hats pop up. The trees are still barren for the most part. It's kind of confusing because the winter wasn't particularly cold, we've had mostly warm spring-like days since mid-February, and we got some rain this winter. Not sure why the plants aren't popping.
  7. I did the "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" procedure about college football in 2022 so I have no idea what you're insinuating, good sir....
  8. Not sure it was a "great" episode. But I feel like it was an essential episode for story building, and I think it was done well. It just wasn't "entertaining" because none of the characters we love were in it (nor were they in the previous episode). My wife and I took a bunch of edibles and tried to watch it on Friday night. We got about 20 mins in and realized we had no fucking clue what was going on, so we turned it off and watched a Mission Impossible movie. We rewatched on Sunday when we weren't higher than giraffe pussy.
  9. I'm surprised no one has made a film based on Cormac McCarthy's Blood Meridian. I know like 10 different people have started working on an adaptation, but nothing has ever materialized. But if there's one McCarthy novel that seems perfect for the big screen, it's this fucking powerhouse of a book. I think part of that is that it's really challenging to translate McCarthy's prose to the screen. The only great film made from one of his books is "No Country for Old Men". I guess "The Road" was pretty good too. I thought that "All the Pretty Horses" was successful, but I looked it up and it only made $18 million on a $60+ million budget. So that was a flop.
  10. Do they have a Armanti/D'onta Foreman situation going on with the Bowen brothers? Peyton was the big name recruit but he hasn't done shit. Seems like they only offered Eli to get Peyton, but Eli seems to have surprised a bunch of people by not sucking as a true freshman. Also, what happened to Adepoju Adebawore? He was a national top 10 guy and he's got 10 total tackles in two years with 2.5 sacks.
  11. what the fuck does any of this have to do with Xavier Worthy?
  12. Fair. But I think he left because he was surrounded by a cult of out-of-touch weirdos with a grossly overinflated estimation of their place in the college athletics landscape, and being around Aggy every day made him miserable.
  13. I assumed his drop was related to his measurables. If Turntine is 6'3" and only 260 (on3) to 275 (247) that doesn't fit the "large humans" mold of what Flood usually wants. I assume the staff believes he's got the frame to add more weight, but he'd have to add A LOT of weight if his listed numbers are correct. Seems like an overcorrection, and I hope we are able to sign both him and Ojo.
  14. Also, it seems to be a down-ish year in Texas for truly elite talent. Both on3 and 247 have dropped Turntine in the 50s. On3 has only one Texas player in the top 32 - Ojo. 247 has three - Ojo, the QB committed to Houston, and Carlton. Last year on3 had 8 5-star players from Texas and 247 had 9. I know we're recruiting more nationally, but there aren't a lot of elite players in our backyard this year that might make for an easy 5-star commitment. I also know lots of shit is gonna change between now and December, and there will likely be some in-state kids that will rise. Still think Texas ends up with a top 5 class. But still, doesn't seem like this is a strong in-state class at this juncture.
  15. Sorry to be pedantic, but Wisconsin old fashioneds are completely different than what the rest of America believes is an old fashioned
  16. I can tell you that overalls are very popular with my wife's 40+ mom friend group. I think they're pretty silly.
  17. "Will Texas be willing to pay Bell whatever that team that comes in at the last minute to try to get him to flip?" Motherfucker, we are that team.
  18. There are concerns that Jahdae isn't tall enough to be a true cover corner in the NFL. Many teams see him only as a slot corner. His value is his flexibility and experience playing a different position every year in college - and excelling at each, improving year over year. But he doesn't have the frame of an ideal, classic shut-down cover corner. It may come back to bite teams that passed on him in the ass and he may be a perineal all-pro. But he's still valued enough to be a first round pick.
  19. I've seen Alfred Collins, Isiah Bond, Cam Williams, Andrew Mukuba and Quinn Ewers all in the second round in at least 1 mock draft that's come out since the combine. They all won't get drafted in the second, but any of them could. A Bleacher Report mock draft that came out today has Kelvin Banks falling out of the first round. Which I find shocking considering he measured 6'5" at the combine, seemingly putting to rest the concern that he's not tall enough to play LT. And they have like 5 guards going before him too, as though Banks couldn't slide down to guard and be dominant.
  20. Of course. But the "replacing a successful head coach who departs unexpectedly with a well-respected staff member to keep the team together" strategy doesn't work out too often. At least Terry made a deep tournament run as HC. Earley hasn't done shit.
  21. But you could just shut the fuck up and stop shitting on the thread. You can absolutely do that. But you have the self control of a fucking toddler. So you can't.
  22. Derka, shut the fuck up. Stop replying to every single post. You're fucking ruining this thread by making it about you.
  23. hold on to your butts
  24. The Earley experiment feels a whole lot like the Rodney Terry experiment. Also, isn't Earley a hitting coach? Why do they suck at hitting now?
