  1. I thought Karolina's job was redundant with the harassed chick's jobs. Hugo's job was redundant with the olympian's. Hugo was on the kill list. Karolina was not. Maybe I'm wrong. That's just how I remember it.
  2. Assuming Mattson wasn't fabricating a bunch of bullshit about sending blood to this ex-girlfriend/head of comms, they would have two heads of comms because, as Shiv pointed out, he can't fire ol' blood babe.
  3. Holy shit.... Imagine admitting all of this. Wow.
  4. Isn't he in the middle of a competition to be QB1 at Ohio State with Kyle McCord? From the very limited research I've done it seems McCord has the edge. But Ryan Day has to at least maintain the appearance of an open competition if only to keep Brown from transferring this year. Admittedly I don't follow them too closely so McCord may be the presumptive starter. Perhaps one of our resident buckfucks can elaborate?
  5. What's up with Ty Simpson? former 5-star who had a chance to redshirt and learn. Just hasn't put it together? Figured they'd roll with him and let him take some freshman lumps. But does he just suck too? Weird for Saban to whiff on highly-rated QBs two years in a row.
  6. Maybe for the Star Wars nerds. But as a casual fan, it really wasn't an entertaining season. It was a slog - the "Bo Katan" season. And she's boring. And Moff Gideon was a clown of a bad guy. And not much happened to the two characters we care most about. IMO, it was exponentially the worst season of the series, on par with Bobba Fett. But that's just my opinion. Glad others liked it.
  7. In high school I worked at a TCBY. I had a key and would leave the machines running when I closed up. I'd go to see rock shows after I got off work and bring my friends back to eat free sundaes. We'd give the WW2 vet security guard sundaes and he would bitch about anything and everything. It ruled.
  8. Second Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada. Tommy Lee Jones is so great in it. One that I haven't seen mentioned is Hell or High Water. Some might not consider it a classic Western though. Australia is putting out some pretty great Westerns too. I particularly liked The Proposition. Guy Pierce and Danny Huston were fantastic. So many people have tied to make Blood Meridian. It would be very hard to translate to film, but in the right hands it could be fucking amazing. It's probably my favorite book ever.
  9. Doubt it. He may think he wants to settle down, but he's married to his job. He'll have a new love interest every season and will fuck it up because that's his character. Anyway, great episode. Interesting to see how they tie it all together and get the kids off without Perry getting disbarred.
  10. Oh. Yeah. That's not ok. Dog gets to shit within the radius of a normal non-retractable leash. And owner has to pick it up. And then put it in your mailbox. Also, stop using retractable leashes people.
  11. Don't forget about the racism. There's lots of that on there too. Man don't decide where dog gonna take a shit. Dog does.
  12. Pretty sure things end just find for said gun shop employee. Especially now that we have an activist governor who will just pardon him if things don't work out the way the "good guys with guns" crowd want.
  13. Two things to support bolded above: 1) he was Academic All Big-10 all three years he was there. 2) he said this: "I think I can really help in Austin,” Carter told Inside Texas. “Great atmosphere, great environment, and warm weather. Tired of playing in Big Ten. Too cold.”
  14. Since you threw it out there, can you elaborate? Trying to understand how an all conference DT committing could have negative implications elsewhere. If you can't comment, I will understand, but will think you're a dickface fuckhead. Thanks in advance...
  15. Take that shit out of here you jinxing motherfucker!

    Burgers

I love the cheese tots, but I'm not paying $5.75 for a side. Dirty's has one of my favorite burgers in the city, and it's a top old-austin experience, but their prices are kinda high. I guess it's what you have to charge in the area to keep a restaurant open. But by comparison, a double cheeseburger with fries at Crown & Anchor is $11.75 (and you get a metric fuck-ton of fries) where at Dirty's a large OT with fries is $14.65. Crown's burgers are much bigger, too. It's not a huge difference, but $4.25 for fries or a side of tots just seems high to me. Add in a $3 iced tea and you're paying $22 with tip for lunch.
  17. Second word of username is certainly appropriate. Only ctj can speak to first name.
  18. That lady is “let me speak to the manager” personified.
  19. I was told that there were a handful of blue chip recruits and/or transfers that were waiting for the official announcement of RT as HC. Caveat - I was a supporter of RT getting the HC gig. He earned it. But it would be helpful to see some good news at this point.
  20. A storm of dicks. What's so hard to figure out? It sucks getting caught in a storm of raindrops. Now, imagine those raindrops are dicks. It's not good. The only person who would enjoy that is Bob Stoops. And South Austin's mom...
  21. There's also a reason they had an entire scene where the ADA is talking down to Strickland and ends the conversation with "find me something we can use." I suppose it's possible that it could have been someone other than Strickland, but they went way out of their way to tell us who did it, even if they didn't show us. To have it be someone else would be pretty weird, and kinda lazy.
  22. Yeah. It's, uhhhhhh, not very good. Other than the wings which are ok-ish. But also expensive as fuck! 10 wings for only $18. I honestly have no idea how they've stayed open for so long. They must own the property and are just waiting for someone to offer them more than they can refuse. So may as well keep a super-shitty bbq restaurant open while they hold out...
