  1. Why the fuck would he do that?
  2. How does trading Luka facilitate legalized gambling in Texas? I’m failing to connect the dots here. Or how does trading Luka facilitate a team move to Vegas where gambling is legal? Help make this make sense.
  3. Loved the first season. Liked the second season. Got bored in the third season and bailed. Should I power through season 3? Or does it continue to decline?
  4. Made some refried beans and a tray of cheese enchiladas today. 🤌🤌🤌
  5. Don't they all already have agents that negotiate their NIL?
  6. Awesome. Provide the context. You've provided screen shots out of context. Let's watch the videos and see if they're doing nazi salutes or just normal motions like waving to crowds. Because we have a video of Elon doing a nazi salute. Not a "my heart goes out to you" movement, which we also have video of him doing. This was a very different, very "nazi" thing.
  7. Huh? Her first name is Gemma
  8. Well, yesterday I was thinking about that post I made and realized Ms. Casey is "presumably" severed, but is addressed similarly to those that we know to be unsevered. But that also lends credence to the idea that "something" weird is going on with Ms. Casey. She's not severed, and she's not unsevered. She's unique in some way. Maybe she's a clone... Either way, I don't think Ms. Huang is severed. How would you know you were a crossing guard before you started working at Lumon if you were severed?
  9. The dumb part is that if you go to the team's recruiting list, they still show the breakdown of each player by the various services. So you can still see the aggregate, just not on the individual player pages. It's so stupid.
  10. If you think that's bad, look at the number of Texas OL drafted from 2009 to 2019.
  11. When is the decision on scholarship numbers going to come down? I thought it was already final. And does that mean most schools are expected to take 35+ next year to get to 105?
  12. I mean, if they could stop obsessing about "tu" they should really see an 8-4 record in year one as a positive data point. It takes time to get rid of the culture rot that exists when a program has to move on from a head coach, and then establish a strong and winning culture with your new guy. But instead, they cooked up this idea that they had everything they needed to compete right away with "the greatest recruiting class ever" as the foundation. Never mind that most of the difference makers from that class were already gone, and the ones that were still there were massive disappointments. They're so goddamn weird.
  13. I assume that Ms. Huang is not severed. Anyone with a last name is unsevered. Severed individuals have a first name and last initial.
  14. I'm rooting for Notre Dame because I don't want this guy to have a title
  15. I've seen people recommend meater on this page and want to chime in. I did not care for the product at all. The bluetooth on mine had shit for range. If I had something on the grill and went inside - maybe 30 feet away I'd lose connection. It had a very hard time reconnecting when I brought my phone back to close proximity to the probe. All in all, it wasn't worth what I paid, and had some problems with their customer service trying to return it. Ultimately I left the probe case out and our puppy chewed it up and that was the end of my meater experience. I don't recommend them.
  16. Mark Cuban got rich selling the streaming platform he helped to create. The reason he got involved in Broadcast.com was so that he could listen to Indiana Hoosiers basketball games. I'm guessing if he had any extra cash in his couch cushions, he's giving it to IU basketball.
  17. Holy fuck. Elon Musk did not go to Texas. Elon Musk has shown no interest in sports. Elon Musk doesn't give his money away to legitimate charitable causes, much less directly to 17 year old football players. Can we stop talking about Elon Musk? It's only going to lead to cloak room bullshit because of his public persona and association with the incoming Presidential administration.
  18. He had an uncanny ability to slide up a step or 2 into a sack, though. He did that shit all the fucking time.
  19. After the top 8 teams or so, I don't think it matters. Those are Tier 2 teams that didn't do enough to convincingly earn a spot in the CFP (except Arizona State, who earned a spot by winning their conference championship game). And at that point it's somewhat subjective. If you're trying to answer the question of "who do you think is a better team", you have to weigh potential and results. Alabama certainly has the capability to beat any team in the country. But you also have to take into consideration how they performed on the field. Their loss to OU was so pathetic and embarrassing that it was disqualifying and relegated them to the second tier of schools who did not earn a spot but were hoping for one. If they would have beat OU, they would have been in. Simple as that. But they didn't. I don't give a shit how you rank any of the schools between 9 and 17 in the AP poll. They're all Tier 2 teams this year. Also, sorry to derail this thread. I'll stfu now.
  20. Sure. But OSU didn't lose 3 regular season games. They didn't lose to Washington (in-conference with the same record as OU) by three touchdowns. The other game they lost was to the team that was ranked #1 in the country for longer than any other team. And then they avenged that loss in the playoffs. They were already in when they lost to Michigan.
  21. Sagarin currently has Alabama ranked #8 despite getting curb stopped by a shitty OU squad with a losing record, losing to a shitty Michigan team in their bowl game, and managing to drop two other games along the way. I don't give a shit what they computers say. Alabama isn't a top 10 team and didn't deserve to be in the playoffs, all of which was hilariously proven in one of the better "ball don't lie" moments when lowly Michigan beat them.
  22. I know they have sand trucks. I'm asking if they spray salt. Sand helps with traction. Salt keeps ice from forming. Sanding does very little to mitigate the formation of ice. Salt does. That being said, I don't think it's gonna matter based on current forecast models.
