After doing the cathedral, the wife went to shop and I headed to the Third Reich museum. I got lost since the street signs are three foot long and 19 letters each. I stopped at the Hilton and walked up to a young guy at the info desk. I asked directions to the Third Reich museum and he said, "What's that?"
I wonder if history is taught differently over there?
How much are you willing to pay?
I was standing in my open HEB today staring at the beer, when a distributor with a Thirsty Goat sweatshirt asked if he could help me:
ME: No, I'm just amazed at these prices
HIM: They're only going up!
ME: You guys are going to price yourself out of business.
HIM: HA HA, people will not stop buying their beer.
Mom recently died, I'm the only heir.
Several years ago, we prepared a "Transfer on Death Deed" and I filled it at the county court house. Now that she's died, I filed a "Affidavit of Death" to match up the prior one. Which they did.
I called yesterday to see if they had magically transferred the deed into my name and was told, no, all we do is file documents. You need a Title Company or Real Estate Lawyer.
What's my next step?
(If I plan to sell the property, should I wait and do this process just once?)
Been with them for a long time, but never with a card. Recently had a ton of problems with their Brodie Lane staff. They were incredibly uneducated in what I needed. They were arrogant as hell at the start, then had to call Shoal Creek office every step on the way.
I'm really thinking of moving elsewhere, but the location is convenient.
