  1. I was thinking about this the other day. More teams are investing in football, more teams are going “all in”, and with revenue sharing almost every team will have a floor millions above what they’re spending now. But talent is finite and there aren’t anymore good players than there were yesterday. The result will be more stories like you’ve described. Everyone getting paid and marginal talents getting extremely good deals especially at premium positions. We see it all the time in baseball with the most average left handed pitchers getting sweetheart deals because teams have money to spend and it has to go somewhere.
  2. Yep. Hope he has a terrible career but really enjoys his time in gainsville. 👍
  3. During the open practice last week, I think Bobby mentioned that Williams was out there and moving around pretty well all things considered.
  4. The joke was made a number of times when he went in and committed, with multiple Tom Herman references as well.
  5. And I have a message for the god squad. If you are lukewarm god will spew you out. Isn’t that what the bible says?
  6. This is true, but he is old for his grade and went to a football academy for HS. Meaning he should be advanced both physically and schematically. He’s not a skinny 2A kid we really need to let bake. He plays one of the easiest positions for early impact, he should be ready to go by this point in the season.
  7. Haha yep, him and Cole Calhoun got a lot of run that series. I was down the left field line when Connor Rowe walked them off.
  8. Zion seems like a great kid. Affable, funny, into drama club. I asked Gerry once point blank if he had the requisite toughness and aggression. He said that was the big unknown.

  10. If we know that then sark knows that. If sark knows that then kirby has to know that. If kirby knows that then sark most definitely knows that he knows that. It’s so simple.
  11. Seems like he would slot in and be deadly in that strong side End role when we’re in base 3-4 and essentially playing 3 DT’s. It took Alfred Collins year to be a consistent force on the inside but even he beasted there in that limited role. I’d expect the same and more from Terry as he grows into that every down 3 technique.
  12. Their entire athletic department needs to die in a fire. Inconceivable they’ve tied us in football and exceeded us in baseball championships. Burns me up to no end.
