  1. she doesn't look great, but they intentionally white trashed her up which probably exaggerates it.
  2. that's what we need. get spencer hall on the line to make something go viral and sabotage the campaign before it starts. (edit to add: GASP! I googled spencer to see what he's up to and evidently EDSBS just shut down last month. what an institution that was)
  3. That Don Jr. tweet "take it from me" was pretty funny.
  4. "Hey boss. I got an idea for our next project. Let's build a huge tower with a ton of arches and columns. Going to be beautiful. Can see for miles in any direction from the top. Make us rich. We'll call it the Leaning Tower of Pisa." "Sounds great. I can't wait to . . . wait, the what Tower?
  5. I too think it would be appropriate to have Florida's welcome sign be grammatical retardasia.
  6. Laugh/cringe
  7. Enjoyable write up. I wonder if it will be as good the second time though. The Spahn Ramch scene had all this tension and you’ll go in knowing nothing happens. And the laughter of the gang getting slaughtered was half because of the surprise. Those were two big parts of the enjoyment to me.
  8. i fault people none for coming up with conspiracy theories on this. this is going to be our kennedy assassination.
  9. that is probably the most lucid man-on-the-street interview ever.
  10. I can’t believe we let him do this. Of the 7 billion people on planet earth if you rank them in order of likelihood to commit suicide he probably very literally was number one. And we weren’t able to prevent it.
  11. how could they even charge him with anything? MO law different from TX on this point? because it seems like here what he did would be totally cool and totally legal.
  12. https://splinternews.com/heres-trump-using-a-baby-whose-parents-died-shielding-h-1837095801 He got used as a prop for political points, and it is the President so it is hard not to get swept up a bit. But he at least seems to be able to connect the dots. We'll see if he still votes DOTUS.
  13. Agreed. The bad phrasing doesn't help. I'm from a town of 600 that isn't totally poor, but when you are from one of those towns you inevitably end up circling through the others. And the others aren't doing great. They are lily white filled with people that aren't making it work and have to listen to someone say white privilege all the time. You're telling me the system is cheating for me? I tried to explain this to my Dallas wife and she doesn't really get it. "Yeah, but they wouldn't be subject to random stops by the cops..." kind of stuff. It shouldn't be called "white privilege." Something like "white and looking like a respectable member of society, and educated too if you can help it, and hopefully driving a late model car, and frankly it really only works for all those people in your high school you used to hate that were favored for everything already" privilege. Not agreed.
  14. very cool.
  15. Should be Roy on Game Day for the LSU game.
  16. Stuff like this https://www.texastribune.org/2019/07/31/engage-texas-raises-nearly-10-million-register-new-republican-voters/ their first federal report shows $10mm toward Texas voter reg
  17. It’s like they had an idea for Liz and couldn’t stop despite having zero left.
  18. ... but why? Don’t you have 18 months before then?
  19. 1 down, 49,999,999 to go.
  20. GOP is spending a ton in Texas on registration efforts. Turnout is clearly the game this year. Both sides know persuasion isn’t going to happen. GOP seems to be mobilizing better.
  21. *commensurate.
