  1. I tried, but my eyeglass prescription expired twice while trying to read all that! Seriously… it’s some good points, but there are last I read 475 million guns that have been manufactured for sale in the US. There’s no way they’re going away, at least not in any significant number to make any difference to the psychopathic offal who want to commit crimes, either by selling illegal weapons or using them for crimes. For the next century or so if we wanna stop crime someone’s gonna have to stay strapped.
  2. I don’t carry a gun in public, but my pocket knife is always sharp and would leave those assholes with a blind dog full of punch marks pretty damn quick. Damn, people are such assholes.
  3. I can’t keep up, planet or not?
  4. This! Good luck finding a regular MD willing to touch any chronic pain issues these days though.
  5. Isn’t that what reparations are? /CR
  6. I mean Green Bay has to be number one!
  7. Is there not a freaking Dust Buster on these planes? I like how the woman they interviewed had some insight into how tired or not everyone on the plane was.
  8. I’ve got no real issue with this idea. Can’t be worse than the trained Uvalde response. If it’s common knowledge there’s a vetted and trained person or two who’s willing to wander the halls continuously during the day it may well keep one of these cowards from showing up. I’d volunteer at my kid’s elementary school if they’d consider an old who’s been out of the military for like 35 years. I’d rather see this than arming a bunch of teachers that have no interest in firearms.
  9. I’d agree as we have so many that we’re completely out of room in the cabinet and have had to shift things around in others to make everything work, BUT… I love the giant 48 oz cups! Holds ice for 24 hours.
  10. Well then… carry on lawyers
  11. Beer Drinker, that lawn is phenomenal considering how big that dog is! Well done!!
  12. I’ve been sucker punched before (shocker, I know) as a kid but it never occurred to me to press charges. Walk that shit off.

    Getting old sucks

TBH I’ve had Beaver Fever since I was around 14!
  14. You’ve apparently met my wife and daughter.
  15. CSB… I grew up in a house that was legit haunted,(story for another time) so I believe in some of the paranormal. And I’m legitimately very impressed that this guy’s figured out a way to monetize this 500 acre ranch out in BFW Utah that doesn’t look like it has the vegetation to sustain 20 head of cattle! I’ve just seen the one episode, and in the opening spiel they mention ghosts, aliens, and monstrous creatures. Seems a bit much. But they use what appears to be millions of dollars in equipment out looking for whatever. That was one nice helicopter they were sporting around in in the episode I saw!
  16. Iron Eagle!! Super cheesy but fun. Has a bunch of young actors you’d seen in other movies. MJ Fox’s buddy from Teen Wolf, Lamar from Revenge of the Nerds, cousin Oliver from the Brady Bunch, and a very young Jan from The Office as the star kid’s girlfriend. The kid’s high tech gimmick was a Walkman strapped to his thigh. My take away from this movie was that in 1986 fighter jets were so easy to fly that you could be an Ace after a couple of hours in an 8 bit simulator!
  17. I turned on the TV and the History Channel was on. The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch came on, I’d never seen it. According to the show there’s a ranch somewhere in Utah which have had unexplained happenings doing on since “ancient times” and these dudes are using all kinds of high tech gadgetry to get to the bottom of these shenanigans. Apparently it’s all confined to this one guy’s 500 acre property, because they’re not looking for any of the “anomalies” outside the fence lines. I don’t know what the big dealio is as after watching one episode and I was able to figure out the secret to the ranch. Any of you cats have a favorite show?
  18. You’re a grown man, say 45. You have to choose one. Would you rather your weekend go to look be jorts, or always backwards baseball hat guy? I say 45 because I’m a couple over 60 and I think jorts get a bad rap.
  19. Terminator 2
  20. OKC is too big. Not talking population, square miles. If you’re in Edmond it can be an hour drive to get to the far south burbs. Plus there’s just a ton of shitty neighborhoods. It’s a depressing city. I love me some Tulsa, the midtown neighborhoods are what central Austin was like in the 80’s. If you’re looking small town my grandparents lived in Claremore. Very laid back and you’re 25 minutes from Owasso and all the shopping and restaurants Tulsa has to offer.
  21. Barbarella?
  22. Belfast. Kenneth Branagh is capable of making great movies.
  23. It meant something to your grandparents
  24. Universal bitch… Please make sure you arrive 15 minutes early for your Dr. appointment. Then we’ll leave you alone in a freezing cold examination room for a full 40 minutes after we take your BP and say the doctor will be right in. I’ve started playing the 5 more minutes game. “ I’m walking out if they don’t show up in 5 more minutes. Now, I’m leaving this MF’r if they aren’t here in 5 minutes!” Repeat.
