Hero of Ukraine Vladyslav Stotskyi - Senior Lieutenant of the National Guard, platoon commander of the βSvobodaβ battalion of the 4th βRubizhβ brigade - speaks about life on the frontline today:
βYou sit in a burrow underground, camouflaged, you canβt go out into the fresh air. Natural needs - in plastic bottles or bags, no hygiene. You sleep in blankets or sleeping bags next to your brothers-in-arms to keep warm. During the day itβs hot, at night itβs cold.
Nearby there may be dead occupiers lying around - the smell is constant.β
βWhen we were encircled for almost 70 days, we did everything we could: set up communications, ran wires, put up antennas, searched for food. We picked up things from Russian backpacks when they came close - took canned food, water, cigarettes. We didnβt throw away our weapons, we didnβt surrender.β
βRight now, about 90% of enemy manpower losses are caused by drones, the rest - artillery, tanks, infantry. Thatβs why drones are needed more than anything else. And we donβt have enough UAVs.β
