Things not going well in Venezuela
50,000 is a very optimistic number, not to mention they would be based off of ships as the article mentions. People don’t realize how tough that would be to do - we would need a lot more ships in that area.

Things not going well in Venezuela
By the way, I do not think he’s dumb enough to attack people on Mexican soil, but it’s good to force him to deny it.

Trump’s America
He is definitely starting to spiral in. The Epstein stuff is getting worse. Economy is not doing what he wanted. The National Guard bullshit is not getting him the wins he wanted, nor is the Venezuela shit. The piggy comment really showed he’s losing his grasp. He’s getting embarrassed by Putin and the Chinese on the international stage. And Texas fucked up redistricting while California may have nailed it. In the wake of of bad elections for him. And then he just saw the Senate Rs tell the House Rs to fuck off by passing the Epstein stuff with no changes, followed by the House Rs telling the Senate Rs to fuck off by stripping out the damages stuff. Johnson was probably shook because Trump yelled at him. Trump knows he’s lost control of Republicans in Congress, at least in the Senate. That fundraising email spoke volumes - he knows he’s in for more impeachments. Dude might be spending most of his upcoming days dealing with Epstein shit.

I don’t have to worry bout this bullshit with Sela Ward and Susanna Hoffs or Shania Twain. I just have to worry about @Brisketexanhiding in the bushes and peeking through the window.

The GOP Civil War
It’s illustrative of what I’ve mentioned before - Cruz feels like it’s his turn, that he’s entitled to it and probably sees Vance as taking a short cut.

Abbott being Abbott
Wont be a good look during the appeal process. I expect him to attack Abbott and the legislature for fucking up so badly. He has to be seething over those 5 seats, especially if California pulls it off.

Jeffrey Epstein needs his own thread
And the hardcore conspiracy theorists lean pretty hard right, into libertarian territory. It was easy for Trump to get them to the polls with all of the conspiracy bullshit, but the problem for him is that they are also the people who are going to freak out the most at redacted files.

Things not going well in Venezuela
https://www.cbsnews.com/amp/news/warning-signs-mexico-beach-us-department-of-defense-property/ Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum on Tuesday ruled out allowing U.S. strikes against cartels on Mexican soil, a day after President Trump said he was willing to do whatever it takes to stop drugs entering the U.S. Meanwhile, Mexican and American diplomats were trying to sort out what may have been an actual U.S. incursion. On Monday, men arrived in a boat at a beach in northeast Mexico and installed some signs signaling land that the U.S. Department of Defense considered restricted. Mexico's Foreign Affairs Ministry said late Monday that the country's navy had removed the signs, which appeared to be on Mexican territory. "The origin of the signs and their placement on national territory were unclear," the ministry said in a statement. —/—/ The signs read in English and Spanish, "Warning: Restricted Area," and went on to explain that it was Department of Defense property and had been declared restricted by "the commander." It said there could be no unauthorized access, photography or drawings of the area. CBS 4 News Rio Grande Valley posted an image of one of the signs on social media. The U.S. Embassy in Mexico shared a comment from the Pentagon Tuesday about the incident, confirming that contractors putting up signs to mark the "National Defense Area III" had placed signs at the mouth of the Rio Grande. "Changes in water depth and topography altered the perception of the international boundary's location," the statement said. "Government of Mexico personnel removed 6 signs based on their perception of the international boundary's location." The Pentagon said the contractors would "coordinate with appropriate agencies to avoid confusion in the future." Mexico had contacted its consulate in Brownsville, Texas, and then the U.S. Embassy in Mexico City. Eventually, it was determined that contractors working for some U.S. government entity had placed the signs, Sheinbaum said.

ChatGPT AI Tool— We all work for robots now
Ticking over Ye Olde 50 Years Old threshold and the amount of "the Texas legislature has voted on new healthcare legislation bleh bleh bleh and Medicare or Medicaid bleh bleh bleh" spam robo calls has shot up for me, even with constantly blocking. Somebody out there is making a shitload of money on these spam robo calls, and even though I clearly recognize them as spam robocalls, it's obvious a lot of people aren't. Now ramp that up to 11 with AI with a lot more stuff. We are in for a rough ride. I used to chuckle at the once-in-a-blue-moon phone call from a relative asking why somebody in another country wants to send them cash. Now I'm pretty sure half my older relatives have had a few thousand dollars stolen from them over this stuff.

Русский корабль - иди нахуй
I don't think so. Sweden and Finland didn't get off the fence for that to happen. However, America as the "Arsenal of Democracy" and as leader of the free world is rapidly slipping away. We just have to remember that Ukraine doesn't have to win, they just have to not lose, and there's a distinction there - we see them hitting targets inside of Russia every day that drags Russia just a little bit closer to systemic failures (power, oil & gas, etc.) that they can't easily recover from. Sure, Russia can burn 120,000 soldiers to get a shell of a town that used to have a population of 60,000, but that's not something they can repeat over and over, and no amount of dead and wounded soldiers will keep the lights on and the oil flowing. Without that hard cash, Iran and China aren't going to sell them the goods, and without power and heat, the Russian people will get really antsy. And there's talk that Russia is burning through those soldiers over the past few months to achieve psychological victories to pressure Trump because they think his usefulness is coming to an end. Whether that's true or not is more for CR, but they've definitely ramped up pressure on the battlefield to achieve something at a helluva cost. And they still haven't fully taken over Pokrovsk, which is wild.
