  1. Welp, I apparently saw it wrong. Sorry guys.
  2. I’m not in a position to go back and check. I just remember after the replay going to Texas Sports website to double check the roster so I could be disappointed at whoever #31 was . . . and if forgotten it was Overshown. Maybe I mis-saw the number. But it wasn’t for lack of trying to spot it right when it happened.
  3. Not to defend Boyce (though I’m of the apparently unpopular opinion that he’s a solid average cornerback with a small gap between his floor and ceiling) but it was Overshown #31 who had that embarrassing play you’re referencing . . . just to be fair, and to keep our four/five star guys as accountable as our three star guys.
  4. I like reading Eric Nahlin’s evaluations and fits. He seems perceptive of small traits, and he seems to put a high value on the mental evaluation part . . . which seems appropriate given that we’re trying to project the ceilings of young men who still have a lot of work to do to reach their ceilings. He also just comes off as relatively fair, reasonable, and as unbiased as one can be when covering a particular team. Quick question. Are ANY of the Ag writers in Eric’s league? I’d really like to read an evaluation of their class (and ours, for that matter) from an intelligent Ag perspective. I know, I know. But thought I’d ask anyway.
  5. Is anyone else concerned with Jake’s endurance? It’s only one data point, I know, but in the Hudl game I just watched, he scored touchdowns on 100% of the touches he had in the first 8:00 minutes of the game, but then was tackled on most of the plays in the last 7:00 minutes. Funny aside . . . his team wasn’t on defense once that game.
  6. Like perhaps EJ ordered “one venti Leal and one veloce Smith” for instance.
  7. Is it significant (to our commitment watch, not to EJ’s health) that there are TWO frappuccinos, one vanilla and one chocolate?
  8. I believe it was Mike Williams or Michael Williams, something like that. If it’s the same guy I’m thinking of, yes indeed, the film was absurd.
  9. Another longtime lurker. Been following this community across the internet since the Sure and Texlarry days of Hornfans. Have rarely posted as I've rarely had any unique insights. But I've enjoyed following the info and discussion immensely. So thank you all for your time. And Blacklab . . . thank you for keeping this going in its new home.
